Tacos, Tijuana - Taco restaurant in Fresno - 3838 E Ventura Ave, USA

Pretty good stuff here. First off the tacos de tripas are amazing! Ask for them to be extra crispy. The shrimp taco is also amazing. It is stewed or girded shrimp. Very flavorful. The torta de chorizo was awful. The bread is too soft. Not enough Lettuce and not enough guacamole. The chorizo was out of the casing and completely pebble. It had the texture of wet cat food. The chips and salsa are excellent. The chips are mediocre but the salsa was excellent. It was flaming hot! Wow! The agua Fresca de Tamarindo was good!

Great food! Tried the asada fries today and they were great! I’ve tried other items on the menu in the past and have never been disappointed.

Stopped in this morning for the first time. I ordered a chorizo egg and cheese burrito. I had them add some of the chunky style salsa. The burrito was quite good and very filling. I will definitely go here again.

I’ve been here a few times, I give it 2 out of 10 from my experience, last time I went which was 9/23/2023, it was to go order 9 tacos in total with a bean and cheese burrito, with two orders of bean and rice. My reasoning for the low reviews was it took 37 mins for my order then I received it, the workers are good, but more focused on the people dining in, could be due to receiving tips for more money, I respect that, but I shouldn’t have to wait that long for mostly tacos that cook really quick with rice and beans that’s been made in advance, felt like my order was bing ignore when I notice other orders who were to go also was left behind and not taken seriously! Hope for improvement! And not left behind due to looks and race!

Tacos Tijuana has lost its taste and culture. I have been coming here for many years with my family. I will never come here again! If I could I would give them zero stars. The food was disgusting from the fillet relleno to the Asada tacos. Everything was nasty I spent over $100 for nothing I threw everything away. It was a waste of money! I called to complain about my fillet because it tasted rotten. The waitress told me I had to take everything back as it was. It was almost 10 p.m. I live about 45 minutes away. I was not going to go back with my children at night. Rather than them taking care of me and my family and apologizing. They lost a faithful customer.

The asada fries are very good. Definitely recommend! The price, the flavor of the meat and also the toppings, everything was very flavorful and fresh. You are given chips and salsa aswell and they are so good. Also the tacos are really good, the tortillas have good flavor and the meat is good fresh cuts. Picture shown is the small asada fries one of the best I've found in town so far!

I only had their tacos but dang were they good! I'd go back if in the area again.
