Tacos Oaxaca - Mexican restaurant in Fuquay-Varina - 1324 N Main St, USA

Tucked away in the corner is a hidden gem of Fuquay-Varina. This is not your common Mexican restaurant. Dishes are perfect for experiencing different proteins or sharing with your friends. I hope they continue to have sucess and have the opportunity to expand to a larger venue. Food was freshly made and presented well for a smaller restaurant. Staff was very helpful with recommendations, so don't be afraid to ask questions.

Delicious tacos and yummy Horchata. Their salsa is just right and they can make it hotter if that is what you like. Management is friendly and the location is very clean. Definitely would come back to try other dishes.

What a gem in Fuquay-Varina! Authentic tacos that are simple and full of taste, exactly how they should be. The meat was all moist, especially the pork carnitas which I find can often be dry at restaurants. The Al Pastor was a big highlight. I stuck with just tacos and so happy I did. Great service, very kind. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Wow, I’m glad I found this place. I got a lengua taco and a birria taco and both were so delicious. Super well marinated meats, so flavorful and tender that it just melted in my mouth. Our server was perfectly attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere and decorations are beautiful. We’ll be back!

This is hands down one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant in a long time. You can tell that they put alot of prude and passion into their food and service. There were so many options on the menu that were really appealing, that I had a hard time trying to decide. Jose made a recommendation of the Queso Berria and it was amazing! Everything there is made from scratch in their kitchen! Both Jose and Edgar checked on us regularly to make sure we were enjoying everything and to see if we needed anything. They were smiling the entire time we were there and very pleasant to speak with. From a spice level, our food was mild but they have house made sauces that they brought to the table allowing us to be able to get it to the level of spice that we prefer. Thus is a huge plus for me because I have been dealing with some sort of indigestion/acid relux issues and spicy foods don't always agree with me even though I prefer my food to be very spicy. The meat and vegetables were all very fresh and the quality of the ingredients were top notch! This has already made it on my list of goto places in Fuquay-Varina! I'm excited to go back really soon and try their Tamales, they have a couple different variations of them that sound so delicious (one of them has Salsa Verde on it)!

Let me start of saying the food was great and the service was phenomenal! We ordered the Quessabirrias and a Especial Torta, as I said both taste great and very authentic flavors. The portion are quite small for the price however - the quesabirria order comes with 3 smaller tacos and a tiny bowl of consomé. The torta portion was ok but the ingredients were overpowered by bread (picture added for reference) All in all good food but overpriced.

The only reason I’m giving this place 4 stars is because of portion sizes. Otherwise, hands down the best place around for tacos. The portions of rice and beans in the taco combo are extremely small for $10.99. Other places around here charge the same price and you get double the amount of rice and beans. I’m really hoping they will atleast raise the price of the combo to $13.99 and that will include 3 tacos, and larger portions of rice and beans, and I’ll definitely be back.

Whoa, I'm blown away, it's so nice and clean, small and quaint, but a very upstanding ambitious young gent giving us white glove service. What a great start to my staycay. Beautiful well balanced margarita to start!!
