Taco Time NW - Mexican restaurant in Puyallup - 15802 Meridian E, USA

We usually love Taco Time. The food quality is great. This last Saturday late afternoon we ordered in house. When the girl brought our order we got cold tater tots and brown lettuce salad (all 3 orders) The beans were also cold. So unexpected. I'm sure we could have taken all these items back up to the counter and someone would have remade our order with hot fresh stuff and lettuce that wasn't old but why should we have to do that at a taco time? Not sure why this locations standards have fallen

I asked for 3 beef soft tacos, 3 of those lime burritos, 2 crispy chicken burritos, and 4 beef classic specials with sour cream and side sauce. Got home and half the order was right. They gave me 3 crispy pinto bean burritos instead of beef soft tacos, but also the crispy lime whatever burrito is not on the order anywhere. It was the first item I asked and I read it to them from a text to them. Good food but now the order I made. Whole reason I came was to get that for my dad, then the fam asked for food too so I ordered extra stuff for whoever wants some, already got my own food elsewhere. It kinda sucks not gonna lie🤷‍♂️ but I also know I should have checked the receipt so it’s partially on me too

I kept smelling fried fish and fried shrimp. I found it. I don't really care for tacos but was happy that they allowed just the fish and shrimp as a side. But no cocktail sauce. The darker one is shrimp I was expecting small pieces of shrimp like popcorn shrimp so getting them as 1 long one. I will admit though the smell of them cooking are better than what they taste like. The shrimp one kind of left a funky flavor in the back of my mouth. I would have given it three stars but the lady inside was nice . It says her name was Charlize. I find it crazy how Google says I can add up to 50 photos you think adding 50 photos in a review is a little excessive wouldn't you I guess unless you're doing like an amusement park and you're going to take a photo of every ride

The Taco Time in South Hill on Meredian never disappoints. We have stopped there several times when we've been out shopping, usually on the weekend & the food is always outstanding. Now if this store could train other stores in the area how to make potion sizes correctly (are you listening Fife Taco Time???).

Went there last and night and ordered a salad with everything separated into containers so I could eat later. Dakota and Gavin were so friendly and helpful. They put our complicated order together quickly and correctly. They treated us with great customer service even though the restaurant and drive thru was slammed. We just moved to the area and will be back soon!

Crispy tacos were good but wish the tomato was different and like it is in the soft tacos. Soft tacos not as good. The drive thru is weird to get into and I wish the parking lot connected to the other stuff nearby because it’s a pain cutting across Meridian a lot of the time.

Customer service was terrible. The only thing the worker said to us was to use the computer to order. They didn’t acknowledge us at any point. We asked for hot sauce and ketchup, waited severally minutes and got hot sauce. We went back and no one acknowledged us again. No ketchup, no have a nice day…nothing at all. I guess we should have used the drive thru…

This is one of my favorite places to eat. They have really good food and the service is amazing. Thanks to the lady that was working the drive thru this afternoon. Good job taco time
