Okay my husband and I live in Denver but our family lives in Pueblo- every single time we drive through Springs to Pueblo we make a point to stop at this specific Taco Star. It SLAPS like no other- the cheese is perfectly melted, the bacon perfectly crisp, super fresh every single time and super friendly staff each time as well. This Taco Star doesn’t hold a candle to any other one we’ve ever been to- we have one down the street from us in Denver and the quality and wait times are trash while this location is prime quality each and every time with very little wait every single trip. Thank you Taco Star for making our drive to Pueblo enjoyable every single time! You guys rock!!!
I guess I have to pay with credit card from now on because all their cash smells like patchouli 👃🏻 stinks up my wallet 😩 but the food is delicious 😋 and everyone is super nice 🙂 fast friendly drive thru. Excellent every time 👍🏻 great hours 🙏🏻
Don't go here! The food is okay at best and . If you are white they over charge you. When you call them out they laugh and shut the window if you call nobody speaks English. Awful and they are go to Albert tacos. They charged me $15 got home and this is what I got.
Great food, but they overcharge you, forget the items in your order, then pretend they can’t understand you or just close the window and pretend you’re not there. If you go inside they’ll hide in the back until you leave. They fish for tips as well handing you the customer receipt copy to sign instead of the merchant copy of the receipt so they can scam you on the back end.
The gentleman at the drive through very rude and refused to add onion to my order when I was more than happy to pay for it. I order the same thing every time i come. It was never an issue before. Now all of a sudden we dont want to give the customer what they are paying for?? Everytime I come through the drive through they have an attitude problem. I am a person with dignity and morals. I treat everyone with respect. I know all of Colorado Springs and I will tell ALL people of COLOR including my hispanic friends not to eat there anymore 🙃🙂
I have been to this location 3 times. I will never return to this Taco Star. It's garbage & I love the other Taco Star locations that I have been to. The staff is nice but my Carne Asada Burrito was loaded with potatoes. There's not supposed to be any potatoes in a Carne Asada Burrito! I tried a Chimi Changa it was the worst that I have ever had! BEWARE! Yuck!
Food is average cost of fast food (10-15 per person) and tastes great. Super greasy though and messy, so be prepared for that.
