Wow!!!! I love this place. The food is awesome and authentic. English and Spanish service. Great chips and salsa. My favorite has to be the home made corn tortillas. I'll be back guys!!! Great, GREAT food. There is truck parking on BOTH sides. NO TRUCK PARKING IN THE MIDDLE GUYS!
Pulled in for lunch on a Monday, ordered 4 tacos, 2 asada, barbacoa, pollo and a jarrito pineapple. The food was very flavorful, fresh and quickly prepared. The hostess was very kind and helpful and busy cleaning. The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely. I recommend the barbacoa tacos and salsa Verde. I will absolutely stop here again it was a proper Taqueria.
Most authentic second or third family owned restaurant North side of Nacogdoches. Update about "Mexican style" Migas for breakfast. They are back but only upon request. If you order "Mexican style" migas made with diced tomato, grilled onions, and jalapeños you might as well order the potatoes done the same way I can just about guarantee you'll love them served this way all the time. I still order a side of sliced avocados, sour cream for my refried beans, and salsa ranchera to pour over my migas. The order of "Mexican style scrambled eggs "aka a la mexicana" with corn tortillas on the side is just as good. The regular or plain migas were never my favorite the way they are served. On the plus side, the beef stew with cabbage, corn, carrots, onion, and potatoes, also known as (Caldo de res) for lunch or dinner is consistently good. The ceviche (diced fish marinated in lemon juice and served on a corn tostada with Pico de Gallo and avocado is a fresh and light healthy meal...one is enough to satisfy your cravings. They offer other meals, of course, but these are the ones I prefer wherever I go. Sooo fast forward post Covid 19 2020 and as everybody already knows many restaurants have changed their menu and doubled their prices, this restaurant was no exception, but It's safe to say the quality of the food is still very good. On this trip back in 2021, I ordered two gorditas, and I was immediately disappointed about their small size and not much fajita or refried beans. I was left hungry for more. I can see room for improvement on this item on their menu even if I had to pay a little more to satisfy my appetite. Last but not least, I had the carne in green salsa which was too salty for my taste. I spent around $80 for 3 Meals dine in and 3 meals to go with two lemonades (no refills allowed) and got no chips or salsa included with the lunch meals because it was ordered before 11:30 a.m. on this trip. It was another letdown to a 7 year customer back in early 2021. Fourth update, as of 2023. Well, the menu seems smaller, although I didn't spend too much time looking at it closely, and they no longer serve lemonade. You have your choice of bottled sodas from Mexico, bottled water, or tap water in a cup with ice or ice tea. All in all, I gave this restaurant a 4 star rating because the food was very delicious, but the service seemed a little slow but worth the wait for my migas.
This place feels authentic, it's owned by the friendliest people I've ever met and the food is proportionate and delicious. This place seems like a run down place from the outside but it's a cozy place to be in the inside with great decor. I had the quesadilla here and it's probably one of the most flavorful quesadilla I've ever had; the meat wasn't dry and all ingredients tasted fresh.
Good service Good freshly made food I loved the hot sauce if its home made salsa you already know its real Mexican food Will stop here again next time i pass thru here Truck drivers are more than welcome you can park on the sides of the building Make sure not to stop in front of it.
OM Fing G! Hidden gem with enough room to fit half a dozen trucks. Their food is freaking amazing and customer service is wonderful. I will definitely be back! I got the steak tacos and flatas and they are delicious! Thank you for another awesome spot to stop for hungry truckers

Everything was fresh and delicious. I recommend stopping at this place!!!
Beautifully renovated historic hotel. Rooms have been upgraded with modern amenities. The rooms are small compared to new hotels/motels . The restaurants and bar are an attraction of their own with good food, drink and service. The pool area is refre
Came across a little gem of a BBQ spot in Nacogdochesâ¦Brendynâs BBQ. Walked up to the counter and the lady doing the meat cutting kindly gave me an overview of the menu. I already saw her make a couple of sandwiches and was impressed, she is a sk
Outstanding donuts, one of the best I've had in Texas. Light, flaky, wonderful flavor. Had cinnamon rolls, glazed twists, and cake donuts. Each was amazing. Staff was super nice. Got me a place for donuts in Nacadoches ð.
Love that the atmosphere is laid back and itâs not as crazy as Starbucks. (Which I always have the worst experience) The coffee is great here too! I like to drink my coffee and read a good book and study.. I have never had a bad experience and the
Lots of green space to play in and a pretty nice playground that was updated a few years back. Much more to play on when we were coming over 5 years ago. Plenty of nice trails too. Also, it was nice to check out the Goodman Bridge they have placed h
The coffee shop is shaped from a house, a very cool environment. There's plenty of comfortable seating, the baristas are quick and friendly, and the coffee is great.
We tried this on a Thursday "Steak Night". We didn't know you are supposed to call in advance but they were so nice and fixed my wife and I a great steak dinner anyway. We will be back.
Wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Blue Horse Bakery in Nacogdoches. They made the cake for my son's baptism and it was by far the best cake I have ever had. Plus, it looked so beautiful we were wary of even cutting into it!! As if it couldn't get an
Our playoff football game this week took us to Nacogdoches and we tried Sam's Southern Eatery. We told our waitress that we were headed to a game so she took our drink and food order and told us she would put the food order in and then bring us our
