Taco Mar - Mexican restaurant in West Chester - 122 E Gay St, USA

As always, Taco Mar pulls out all the stops and makes THE very best Mexican I’ve ever had, and we eat Mexican almost everywhere we travel. Delicious, generous portions, and fairly priced. You won’t find anything better. This time, our favorite parts included birria tacos, a great sampling of salsas, and a fantastic breakfast burrito. Add onto that how friendly and warm everyone serving you is, and it makes us repeat customers. You truly feel the hard work and kindness throughout the whole place. The best spot in town!! We love Taco Mar and come by as much as we can.

Having live in California for a decade, I was spoiled by the Mexican food options there. It’s really hard to find authentic and amazing Mexican food that could satisfy my craving in the Northeast. That’s until when I found Taco Mar in West Chester, PA. A casual take out restaurant with dine-in options. The kiosks make it easy to order. It looks like most of their business is from take out. So many people were waiting for their orders. We each got 4 tacos (carnitas and carne asada). Both were delicious, the tortillas were so fresh and didn’t taste like the one sold at supermarkets. We really liked the green salsa, so flavorful with a little kick.

Just visited for the first time today. It's definitely a lovely spot especially with the summer outside seating area. The staff is very friendly and hard working. The nachos were ok - not something we'd order again (the chips were very mediocre and the toppings were sparse yet mushy); but the enchiladas were great. We will come back to try more stuff!

Such a cute place! Food was SOOOO yummy and great, sweet staff! Quick service too! Definitely a new favorite!

My family ordered nachos and cheese, 2 orders of 3 tacos (ground beef and steak), enchiladas, and 3 Mexican Colas. The enchiladas came out pretty quick and shortly after we received our tacos. Unfortunately we did not receive the nachos until a staff member came to check on us. She was extremely nice and quickly fixed the issue. We were able to get the nachos to go and they gave us some churros as well in good faith due to the mix up. The food was delicious; there was not a drop left on our plates. I would highly recommend this restaurant, not only for their food but for their amazing staff. Great customer service goes a long way. I can't wait to go back!

Right into the compost. My veggie bowl was room temperature rice with les than 2Tbsp of beans and 1/2 the container was salad. My husband’s burrito was wet and gluey. The chips are not seasoned at all… not even a hint of salt and the guacamole was runny. Disgusting and it was $66

I guess I’m a little old-school cause you have to order via their computer an app but otherwise the food was amazing. Best Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time I would definitely travel from New Jersey to this restaurant again on a Saturday just to have lunch.

This place is THE best! The staff are so helpful, kind, and experienced. We've never had a bad meal or experience here. As you can see in my photo, the husband was extremely satisfied with the burrito he ordered. The homemade chips are a treat, so don't forget to get an order of them!
