Gross. Roaches crawling in dining area. Bathrooms disgusting. Almost empty with tables not cleaned. Walked past 2 booths to find one that had been cleaned. Entry not clean either. Bathroom floors hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Watery mild sauce.
This place is absolutely disgusting. The tables, yes all of them, were covered in sticky grossness. Bug carcasses dotted the ENTIRE floor and windowsills. Live ants and flies attacked you while eating. My sons quesadilla had three pieces of steak. 1/4 of the quesadilla didn’t have ANYTHING on it. No cheese no steak. The burrito and stuffed taco we ordered were okay but extremely cold. Cool to the touch even. How is the tortilla on the outside warm but the filling is cold? The place smelled bad. We stood at the front and ordered from the kiosk. It took over 15 minutes for us to place our order and it wasn’t until we were done a dude actually came up and asked us what we wanted. Ridiculous we would have had to wait that long to order if the kiosk wouldn’t have been there. Awful experience all the way around.
The five stars is for the staff, it was busy and they did there best getting food out to people at a timely manner. Taco johns needs to put more meat in the tacos not just a bunch of lettuce with a straw line amount of meat only in the tacos. For the price there should be more. You can have all the different varieties you want but with barely any substance to fill those the cost isn't worth it. Its good food just need more!
Good food. Don't get to visit often because I live out of town but grab this on the trip back home. I usually just get potato ole and nacho cheeseto dip in, but I chose to get a combo. The grilled burrito is very skimpy on ingredients. One person also ordered meat and potato burrito, and it was their normal meal, and they said it was smaller than it had been in the past. We still had a good experience. So overall, it was good. I'm happy they have app ordering now!
They were pretty busy over lunch, so my food took 20 minutes to get, then the potatoes were cold. Dont mind a wait if it means my food is fresh. I ran out of time to eat there, and when I asked for it to go, a lady in the kitchen chastised the girl at the counter who was very flustered to begin with about making sure she knows its to go when the order was put in, like it wasn't the kitchens fault. Girl at the counter had also never heard of a combo burrito (beef and bean) and told me it wasn't an option, maybe it is at this Taco Johns even though its what i always order at different locations, but I didn't think it was to weird of a request since they have beef burritos and bean burritos...
All the credit for this review is to Dalton. He was the only one who knew i wasn't there to do dishes he can supervise and improvise with any crew at any shift. I had been refusing to eat out do to all other locations I am much like a secret shopper I have had my pictures get over 500000 views goings places any from PetSmart's to different states I recommend Tonkowa Resort / Casino while your on you way to eat with us at Taco John's we are loyal by our customer's values each order one at a time. . . So I came to work there to rejuvenate Taco John's great chain with fresh taste showing you how nice a warm meal can feel with a whole new meaning to the word fresh out the fryer hasn't been used in vein. You are warned to reach for you bags with caution because we do not serve food that is not hot up in here! I am a customer in wolves clothing ❤️🌮's I did my part to revitalize a brand name looked like it was dying. They are willing to change if you are unhappy please come forward you got my word for it. The food is well worth the wait you can take my word for it my word is my bond. Their crew was willing to work the trenches for them I would jump on a grenade. Just over work themselves to beat expectations each and every second. To them greatness is not a understatement they do it all hours of the day here. We have stopped at this location multiple times while traveling through town from Texas. The last multiple times we have stopped, we have waited for 10-20 minutes at the counter for somebody to come take our order. They never come. Even when we say “excuse me” and the workers look at us. Very poor service.
It took a minute to get my food so I figured they'd be hot & fresh... well it was like refrigerator cold and nasty!! Both went in the trash!! $15 wasted!!

I can sum up this experience in one word yum. Food was great service was great atmosphere was great portions were large and the building and bathrooms were clean. I had the shrimp fajitas and there was so much shrimp!!
The beds were so comfortable. They have a ample lighting. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was awesome. They even provide to go bags for stuff you want to take on the road with you. Will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
