Taco City Taqueria - Mexican restaurant in Little Egg Harbor Township - 115 Mathistown Rd, USA

If you can only afford to feed your kid tonight, or you have a small stomach like me, don't bother ordering the kids tacos. They will let you order, but the little girl behind the counter instantly became rude and one of the chefs said I shouldn't be ordering it, even though for 6$ less than the adult meal you get 2 half full tacos instead of 3 full, without all the extras I can't eat. They never asked if it was for me, and I easily could have been buying food for "my kid" so the judgement was super unnecessary. Also only one of the chefs can actually cook... I only ordered when Matt was in, but now I'll be finding a new lunch spot

Taco City Taqueria is great! So far we have been twice. The last time I got the shrimp tacos and they were fantastic, the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The sauce used on the tacos was quite spicy so if you don't like or can't tolerate spicy foods that is something to be aware of. The side of rice and side of beans were good as well. My son got the kids meal which was perfect for him. His chicken was very tasty, and cooked well. He enjoyed it. My husband and father-in-law both got burritos (I don't remember which one my husband got, but my father-in-law got the chicken burrito). They loved both of their burritos. Oh and they had a delicious tea made from hibiscus I believe? It was so good!! We will be back. Thank you Taco City! :)

This place is awesome. Food is amazing, staff is friendly; the woman making the fresh corn tortillas is like the Mexican grandmother we all wish we had. Everything we’ve had there has been stellar and great kids meal options too. We will certainly be back, often!

I got an order of the Al pastor tacos and they were delicious. I got them for takeout and they were ready quickly and packed with care. They came with radishes, a grilled Mexican scallion, limes and two sauces, a mild tomatillo and some sort of orange spicy sauce. Great value, large portion. Will eat from here again! Note: guac in my photo is homemade, not from the restaurant.

Boy! That was so good. Grr! I don't put lime in my guacamole. They do. The food was cooked and prepared very well. I could not stop eating it! Though very full. I wanted more! (Hence the earlier growling.)

The food is delicious and the price is reasonable! Ali the owner and chef did a phenomenal job cooking our dinner of birria and pollo asada tacos. They were filled to the brim with beef and chicken. Great job!

The staff is always very friendly and remembers us every time we come in. The food is amazing. We have yet to have some lthing we didn't thoroughly enjoy! I recommend giving everything a shot at least once! Though I will say it doesn't matter what I get when I go there I ALWAYS get the Esquites! 10/10 highly recommend!!
