Nice breakfast spot with indoor and outdoor seating right on the Gulf. We went for brunch. The food was good BUT the cheese grits should come with a warning label! I ordered a side of cheese grits. When delivered they had a red-orange tint. Unexpectedly, they were SPICY! We inquired and were told the cheese grits are made with cheese and hot sauce. This should definitely be disclosed, especially in the South! On another note, the mimosas were great and can be made with OJ, pineapple juice, or cranberry juice.
What a great place for breakfast! From Shrimp and cheese grits, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and a piece of ham. Food was hot and delicious. Must try if your in Orange Beach!! Service was great from waitress as well!
I was only there for drinks. I did pay !25 for two mixed drinks, which felt like hotel bar charges. Staff were super sweet. Atmosphere is great. They’re in a great location, and have adequate parking.
We took the boys here for lunch, and it was great! The boys got the grilled cheese sandwiches with fries, and my wife and I both got the fire cracker shrimp poboys. All the food was delicious. The atmosphere is fun too, the restaurant multilevel and painted bright colors. Oh, and the bushwacker cocktails were very good.
We were mostly disappointed in this place. While the outside patio is nice and offers a great view of the bay, the food was average. We got several fired items and all were just average. Both the fried pickle and fried green tomato appetizers were soft and didn’t have a crunch. The chicken tenders had almost like a catfish batter on them and were again soft. The fries with some of the meals almost tasted like they weren’t done-soft and mushy. Some at the table split the nachos (called Mexican garbage) and they were tasty. The taco salad was also pretty good. If you want a nice view, this place will provide that-but that’s likely what you’re paying for as the food was nothing to write home about.
Food ok, but the views and the dolphin show was amazing. Good place to take you children.
Updated review January 2024-very much enjoyed my trip back to Tacky Jacks. We had crab cakes, crab claws and the grouper sandwich. All still very good. January 2023-For no reason what so ever I have avoided this place. I am happy to say I gave them a try after bringing my nieces to one of their arts and craft events. We had the pleasure of eating outside, nice seating with beautiful views. Crab claws, crab cakes and grouper were great. We went back a week later and had another great experience. Friendly staff. This place is a new favorite.
Awesome atmosphere and great views from the outside seating. Don't worry about the heat, the outside seating has plenty of air flow to make it enjoyable. I had the fried oyster Po Boy and it did not disappoint! My wife had fried shrimp and it was fried to perfection. The famous Bushwacker was our highlight!

Awesome service and food. Drinks were great. Was a little cold when we were here(Jan). So they could use maybe 1 indoor section as its all outside seating. Atleast they had propane heat lamps. Lindsey at the bar was awesome! Cool spot.

We and one other couple booked a deep drop charter targeting grouper with Captain Josh and Corey. Unfortunately, the grouper was not interested in what we had to offer that day. Captain Josh eventually said that we were going to change our tactics an
We took a wonderful stroll on the trail on a late September morning. Only some of the trail has shading, so afternoon walks on hot days can be a challenge. No mosquitoes to speak of. The trail was a mix of wooden walkways, asphalt, and a little bit o
What a great park! The boys and I went to find a playground and scout out fishing spots. This place has both, as well as two sets of bathrooms to use and multiple picnic shelters. The playground area is fenced in, and the equipment is relatively new.
We explored the Wharf both during the day and at night. There is plenty to do between exploring all the shops, riding the ferris wheel, dolphin boat tours, amphitheater, bars and restaurants, and so much more. There is plenty of free parking outside
I read hundreds of reviews on this resort before I booked. I'm so happy we decided to book at the Caribe. We stayed in unit B507 with 12 people. We had a bay view which was fun watching all the boats and people from the balcony. I don't think there i
Breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL, panoramic views. The rooms are delightfully furnished and comfortable. All the necessary/ expected amenities are readily available. The staff is refreshingly charming and repeatedly went above and beyond to meet our needs.
We had a wonderful time at the Palm Beach Resort in Orange Beach. It was beautiful & pleasant. All the condos have a view of the Gulf. Bring your own blanket since our room did not have any extras. I highly recommend staying here.
