This was our first time visiting the Maple Shade location. It was an easy drive from Northeasr Philadelphia…only 23 minutes! We pulled up and got a great street parking spot right in front of the place and went right in. It was a much bigger place inside. Then we thought and it instructed us to go shoe the hostess in the back of the restaurant. That’s when we realized we probably came in the wrong door and there’s a whole giant parking lot behind the restaurant. L O L! you can really tell her from the city when we were just excited to get a Street spot. Well, we will know where to park next time. We ordered two red plain pies, a cup and char pie, which is pepperoni that cups when it’s cooked, and a hot sausage pie. We also tried an appetizer size of their gnocchi with tomato and basil pasta sauce. The gnocchi was so light and delicate and delicious! I definitely want to get that as an entrée for next time. The pizza was very delicious but I will say it’s not as thin as the Port Richmond location. While we enjoyed it very much it might’ve been a little bit better had it in dinner and maybe cooked a minute or two longer.
Pizza was pretty great amazing crisp to it lacking a little flavor staff not nice never been there before looking for the pic up counter and they way they responded when I asked it was like I should’ve known
Place was great with amazing service and great food. The pasta was super fresh and the pizza was amazing. If coming off of main street versus the parking lot both take out and the hostess is located towards the parking lot door.
I love the pizza at Tacconellis! The service is normally pretty good. This time we waited nearly 30 minutes to get a piece of cake for dessert. We finally just canceled it and left. We told our waitress about the long wait. Instead of getting our order, she told us that the girl who brings the food is just busy. If you want decent tips, then provide decent service!
On a friend’s recommendation four of us went for pizza to this location. It was great! Wonderful salad, terrific pizza and very friendly staff. A great experience! We’ll be back.
What a great addition to the area. This cash only, byob, brick oven pizza place is unreal. The fresh made pizza dough, fresh made pastas are fantastic. The red sauce is one of the best around.
The waitress and staff are outstanding! Salad outstanding, pizza was too thin and more of a flatbread style, not our fav - great people here however.
A top pizza destination in the Philadelphia and South Jersey area. We often get a pasta appetizer, too. Thin and crispy pizza - wood fired!

This was my first time there. People are so friendly. For my breakfast, I had chipped beef on toast with a side of sausage. It was very good. I would come back again. I highly recommend going for breakfast and lunch.
A nice, small-town feeling diner with both great service and great food. Wait times were very reasonable and the taste was great. I can personally recommend the tuna salad. Makes a good place to stop for food if youâre traveling too!
