Had a wonderful experience. Went for the fish fry. Be prepared to wait if you don't get there early, it is a bit small with limited seating. It was definitely worth the wait. I had the haddock which was delicious along with the baby reds. Our waitress Erin was busting her tail the entire time yet found time to be personable with us. Hat's off to this young lady who looked like a pole position driver negotiating the traffic cones as some of the customers decided it would be ok to place chairs on the ends of table plugging up the isles. The drinks were typical Wisco small bar drinks, plenty of booze and not watered down with soda or ice. All in all great experience. We will be back.
Was very busy, as there was quite a crowd for their friday fish, but server was very sweet and kind.. The serving was just right and delicious!
Awesome bloody Marys, the pickled mushrooms are amazing! The bartender we had was very friendly and attentive. We both had the Sunday special and it was great! Will definitely be going back.
Hometown bar setting, very friendly, excellent service. Had perch with red potatoes! Great. And grilled shrimp skewers, also very good!
Stopped in for the Friday fish. Service was prompt and courteous, with regular check ins by the server and other staff. The drink menu is broad and has a lot of great choices! Our food was prepared quickly and was hot when it arrived at our table! Seems to be a kid friendly atmosphere and we plan to bring ours back for another fish fry! The place looks really well cared for and the patrons all seemed to be enjoying their food and friends. We will be back and telling others about this place!
Fast service and great Friday fish fry. Clean throughout. Will definitely come back.
I went to get Friday fish fry with my grandma and was blown away with how amazing the food was! Our fish was perfect, and the baby red potatoes were unforgettable! I highly recommend! I will be going back next Friday for more!
Food is good, service was great.
The waitress was friendly and prompt.
However, there was server, red headed sitting behind the bar, apparently off duty. When the waitress/bartender went into the kitchen, a patron walked in, the red head immediately got up from her stool, served her, and made a unprofessional comment in regards to the on duty bartender " she's in the kitchen talking, this is why I shouldn't come in on my days off because I end up working". About 10 seconds later this bartender came out with FOOD! The comments made from her we're not professional. You don't talk about others workers to patrons!!!
If the red headed lady is off duty, then STAY OFF DUTY! The young girl was doing a great job! Then stay home and don't go into that establishment if you can't sit back and enjoy your OF DUTY time.
She, the red head, repeated this action again when another patron walked in when the bartender was tending to another customer. Mind you, it was not busy!
Beautiful, comfortable, calming and just what we needed for a quick getaway from the hustle and bustle. I especially enjoyed taking a bath in the claw foot tub in the master suite. And the walk down to the crystal river was lovely. Thankful to have f
Perfect for a winter weekend getaway when you start feeling stir crazy at home! Gracious hosts, cozy setting, tasty breakfasts, and an interesting story of how the current owners came into the business. I would love to return in the summer and kayak
Owned and operated by the Waupaca Historical Society, the Historic Train Depot is open on select weekends during the summer, however, there is often someone there at other times and would be happy to show you around. The main floor has been restored
Love this place! Even though it's a 45mins drive from Oshkosh, it's worth it. Kids have a blast! And the lifeguards....o...m...g!!! Haha jkjk. Really though good time you won't regret it :) Be safe &take care
