My Goldman loan was transferred to this company. I paid off my loan about 6 months before the maturity, while I had a balance they will sent me the bill on the dot every 17th, once I paid off the 17th passed now we are on the 30th and nothing. I called a second time today, the rep. doesn't know why I have received an email letting me the balance has been paid in full. I was owed a refund of about 2 dollars, she does not know why I have received it yet (not that I care for the 2) but the lack of information and how now that my loan is paid they are taking over a month to send me a notice with a 0 balance!!!!

If it were possible to give a negative "0" rating, they would deserve it. Do whatever you can to not deal with this crooks. The most incompetent company ever. My Goldman loan was transferred to this company and they have NEVER gotten my payment history or structure correct. Thank God I have every bank transaction and have NEVER been late or missed a payment. I may have to engage from a legal standpoint to get closer to these losers.

Terrible customer service terrible company in general!!! my loan was transferred over to them which was fine I was on a payment plan I was supposed to pay 387.42 monthly. I ended up paying $100 a week which is $400 monthly. They told me four times they changed my due date. Meanwhile they never did and since I didn’t do the lump sum they reported that I miss March April, May, June, and July’s payment when I submitted all my bank statements to them and they saw it and they said it’s a miss understanding they will fix my credit report. I spoke to 4 managers since then and they’re telling me now they can’t fix my credit report and they’re sorry for what they done. Meanwhile, they screwed me over never use this company. They are terrible!!!!!

Impossible to reach representatives in the United States. SST reps tell you they’re in the US then they can’t tell you where they’re at. They refuse to transfer calls to the United States. If you look up the corporate number for SST and call it, it goes to a bank and because you don’t have an account with the bank, they can’t get you in touch with SST. It makes sense that SST has a C rating with BBB and hopefully with my complaints it will get lower. All I want to do is talk to someone in the U S that I can understand and who understands me.

How is this company in business? Seriously? First off, 29 years in business according to BBB (They have an F rating by the way!) and a website portal that seemingly has not been updated since 1995. The website is so bad I can't access my account since my password "expired" and will just have to rely on my auto-payments to finish paying my loan off. No point in talking to customer support again. They don't know how to help you. Goldman Sachs last year sold my loan to this shady company with zero forewarning. Never missed a payment once and now myself as well as a lot of other people have to go through this nightmare of a company to finish off paying their loan. Can't believe a company like this is allowed to exist with this sort of track record and pure incompetence. Would love to know who runs this company. Complete joke.

I carried a loan through Marcus for about two years straight, no late payments, split my payment in half, payment went through biweekly. In November 2023 is when I noticed that I could not log into the Marcus app any longer and it was telling me that the loan has been transferred to SST. OK, that’s fine, but it would’ve been very good to know what Marcus was doing prior to them doing it. Anyway, so I set up payments through my bank for online banking, payments to go out biweekly. The first payment went through and then SST denied it. I called them and asked them and they told me that they don’t usually accept payments through online banking. That’s when I knew something was wrong. I was told that they would need to set up my account to receive electronic payments via online banking. Every other payment after that went through exactly as I wanted. The other issue is since Marcus sold my loan to SST they have not made my balance ZERO via the credit reporting agencies. Also, SST does not update balances to the other credit reporting agencies on a timely manner. I called in to customer service early March 2024 and I asked them about reporting to the credit reporting agencies, the agent told me that they were going to do it at the end of March, that never happened. I explained to the agent that I’ve had this account since November 2023 there should’ve been an update by now. If anyone is doing business with this company, I suggest you to refinance with another loan company or pay this off immediately. I doubt they will even update my balance to zero once I pay this off.

I had a personal loan that was sold to this company. I have had nothing but issues in the short time they have had my loan. Reported missed payments that are on automatic payment. Well the new issue is I paid a 1 time payment and they took it out twice. Took my account into the negative because it was a decent amount. More than what I even owed on the loan!!! Then tells me that it will take 10 days to return the money!!

When you're ready to fight back against this company, start researching what it means when a random company buys your "loan". Start with the Federal Reserve Act, Consumer Credit Reporting Act, Fair Credit Act & Truth in Lending Act. And if you want to do a secondary investigation, look up Alorica. They're SST parent company. They have an A+ rating with BBB. You can correct that. All of these companies tied together use their BBB rating to impress investors. Be a thorn in their side just like they're doing to you. FIGHT BACK!!! They're going to ruin your credit anyway. RUIN THEIRS!
