This restaurant is located in an indoor food court with a clean environment and ample sitting space. Overall the food is delicious, but it leans toward the spicy side. If ordering for your child, i recommend to request a milder spice level. The portion sizes are also smaller compared to Middle Eastern cuisine.
First time here. I had the falafel and dolmas. Both excellent and full of flavor. Also the first time trying Vimto and I loved it. Tastes similar to strawberries and cream soda. My husband had the beef shawarma plate and said it was very good. I want to try the Aleppo salad and the falafel sandwich so we will definitely be back!
My original visit right after they open left a lot to be desired. So much so that I actually actively didn't go back.. . Until last week. What an incredible 180 degree difference. The one negative is that it took a really long time others were served before me after ordering after me. That's more to due with when we got to the restaurant I think. The food was incredible, fresh and just so tasty. The rice is quite possibly the best cooked rice I have had in a restaurant in a while. I highly recommend.
Cool indoor food court, but was expecting an actual restaurant. Lamb Shawarma Hummus Plate was super yummy, with a small portion for take home snack.
Had a dad daughter lunch date at the Fork Forty Food Hall and decided to give the Syrian Kitchen a shot. We enjoyed a delicious shawarma wrap and baklava. It was delish!
It was amazing to see the staff gentleman and my father interacting and speaking Arabic to each other it was very impressive. I love seeing how much the gentleman really cared about his culture and he's constantly checking up on us. we had a great laugh when I accidentally told him to have patience using the hand gesture when I thought it meant very good. Turns out the hand sign isn't as universal as I thought it was🤣 it was amazing to extend my palate and try food from another culture I'm really glad this is our plan B. It'll be plan A in the future. 😌
Delicious food with incredible flavor!! Whenever I visit Salem, I HAVE to go to Syrian Kitchen! :)
Very delicious! I was impressed. I knew it smelled good when I walled up, but the flavor is amazing. I got the Schwarma hummus plate and was very please. I will be back! My only critique was they give you a lot of hummus and could do with a few more pieces of pita. But the flavor and amount of schwarma makes up for it!
I ordered the lamb plate. The rice was had plenty of rice plus it was fluffy and not over cooked or dry. The lamb was tender and had the right amount of spice. This was my first time her and I will go back
barre3 Salem is the best! So supportive, fun classes, great instructors. I look forward to every class. Plus I've lost over 10 pounds in just 2 months, and I like the way I look in the big barre mirror more and more every day. I am so grateful barr
Some thing for everyone to enjoy! Old timers take a trip back in time to when steam ran every thing ! And up to modern day! All kids love a parade, Watch and ride a small train and go on an old trolly car ride too! And who doesn't love a good old
I've been coming for about 3 months and I'm in love with this workout program. I feel engaged and motivated to attend multiple times a week. The coaches are super kind and everyone is very supportive. I can't recommend it enough!
Definitely a unique and beautiful bridge! Has a beautiful view as you walk across. Itâs not a very busy area so itâs possible to have the hole bridge to yourself. Definitely worth walking over and checking out if your in the area. Plus it right a
What a pleasant surprise, first time at SOB. Great bartender, great beer selection and good local vibe. Tony Graham's music was icing on the cake. Recommended!
Took my son to the Save the Asylum for his 17th birthday. We all had a great time. And we almost escaped we only had 2 clues left. Definitely something we want to do again. Happy Birthday River Balser glad you had a great time.
A perfect fall evening enjoying some live music along with delicious food and the beautiful fall colors. The view alone is worth it as Trinity offers o great view of the entire Willamette valley. Check their calendar for outdoor events and tastings.
This is an excellent hands-on museum for kids and teens to explore. There are several historic buildings that show the history of early Oregon missionaries and settlers in the area. And then there is the mill structures, such as the machine shop & th
