Such an organized airport. So, myself and biggie missed our flight to Texas and we had to reschedule- 2 layovers😜. The American Airline attendants were amazing and courteous.
This is my home airport and I love the convenience! Easy to get to right off the highway, clean and newish with the renovations as well as efficient ( one can get through quickly!) The one slow time is early in the morning. The restaurants are local and good. Easy to get a Uber/ Lyft.
I came to drop off a car rental, then walked over to the ride share area to catch an Uber!!! It’s a small, but very modern terminal. A short walk from end to end!!! 🫡

For the most part I like this airport. But here are two things I noticed. First. Monday morning after thanksgiving proved that even great small airports make mistakes. This airport is never chaotic and busy. To have that many flights take off at the same time caused chaos at the security checkpoint and many people missed their flights. Better management of departure times during holiday rush is needed. And second after landing thanksgiving morning we make our way to the baggage claim and bags are being taken off the belt by airport staff and grouped together near their offices. We just landed! Why should I have to dig through other peoples baggage to get to mine in the center of the group? Why can’t it just stay on the belt? They said it’s because people steal luggage’s. Well, sure… I would’ve believed that reasoning had they asked for my ID as I rolled my suitcase away from the pile.
Fun little airport, lots of places to shop and grab some souvenirs. However, the people at the place where they confirm your plane ticket were very rude. They were rolling their eyes and acted like they did not want to be there. Nonetheless, the airport was pretty cute and rather small.
Syracuse Airport truly stands out in terms of service and efficiency. From the moment you enter, you're greeted by its modern design and friendly staff, making for a seamless travel experience. Despite its modest size, it boasts amenities and cleanliness comparable to larger international hubs. Waiting times are minimal, and the facilities, from restrooms to dining options, are top-notch. Syracuse has set a high benchmark for what regional airports can achieve. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers. Five stars!
