Sylvester Inn - Motel in Sylvester - 909 E Franklin St, USA

Older hotel kept in good condition. Polite and friendly staff. Comfortable mattress and soft clean sheets. No carpet! Vinyl plank. Hallelujah! No breakfast. Very good value. 9/10 would stay again.

The rooms are decent for a short stay, but they could benefit from a deep clean. The motel does not offer breakfast and does not have a pool. It is located close to town with convenient access to restaurants. The staff speaks very little english, but were friendly. Overall, I would recommend this motel for brief visits, especially if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option and do not want to drive to the next town.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sylvester Inn while waiting for my apartment to get ready. Initially, it was only supposed to be for a few days. Well, it went from a few days to almost a month. AJ and his family and staff were very accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure that everyday spent at their establishment was peaceful and affordable. I’ll recommend staying at Sylvester Inn any time. I have some pictures and video I took with my drone during my stay. I’ll upload those a little later tonight. Highly Recommended.

My stay was flawless. My room was as anticipated, clean and well stocked. The staff is very friendly . I would stay here again.

The rooms are mediocre at best you can’t tell they don’t really clean up to guide lines. But it’s people who can’t even speak real English so I mean what can you expect! The owner is very rude and doesn’t know how to use common sense my friend rented a room for us and I got locked out unfortunately they were not with me so I went to get a key and he refused to allow me one even though he knew I was allowed in the room and my belongings were in there he also said that it was past check out time when it was only 10 am and said we had to go because it was after check out when it wasn’t he had no reason to act this way at all so I will not be giving them any business in the future!

Room was half decent. The service wasn’t all the way good. I noticed a lil segregation also. Old looking building with a smell I can’t describe. The room was halfway decent. There were bugs everywhere. And the shower was extremely cold. The plug inns were burnt out and unsafe. Housekeeping don’t speak English and seem loud and rude. I was laying down half clothed and they just came in my room without announcing or saying anything. Overall it’s not a good place. I would recommend you keep driving on until you see something else.

I was traveling late, rainy, and packed it in with my daughter, wth 4 hours to go, got lucky and found this nice place, very clean rooms, we lit property and super fast and friendly service, don't pass this privately owned and operated property. Excellent price and service.

This was a very reasonably priced hotel. Basic...not necessarily perfect, but good for the money. There was a slight language barrier at first but we got past it easily when an associate helped. They were very accommodating and the room was nice, complete with a refrigerator and a microwave, which is always nice. Some tips though. Specify if you want your room to be non-smoking. They gave me a smoking room, and when I asked to change rooms they were happy to do it for me. They do have space for bus, rv, or truck and trailer parking, but it's hard to find the path for it at night. It's a gravel-ish path that's immediately before you reach their parking lot. Finally, when you're ready to use the shower, be patient. The water heater worked well, but it seemed like several minutes before the hot water made it to the shower. I'm glad I picked this place and would definitely stay there again.
