It would have been fine if it were not for the trash left all over the playground. We won't be coming back. Too many homeless walking around... Interesting tree though. Old school swings. About the only thing left from the good old days when there was a swimming pool
Always dirty, I picked up after the homeless today and it was despicable to see. While my child played I cleaned. City of Fort Worth its our children's playground!
Good place to relax. Police walk through each morning.
I love the size of this park and the trees. It's beautiful in mid fall when all the leaves are changing color. There's a walking trail that goes around the perimeter of the park which is a good distance. The playground is nice and there is a community center, pavilion, and free mulch area. All in all it's pretty great. You'll probably see homeless people kind of camped out at some of the picnic tables scattered around, so if you're skittish about that you'd better just stay home and watch TV.
There's a lot of homeless people just hanging out. I understand that they are homeless but they hang out in the main area and when I was trying to throw my daughter's birthday party it seem to attract more than it did anything. I literally had to ask them to move around.
This park is beautiful. It has lots of trees and shade available. The playground is fair and has a few swings. There is a good size walking path around the perimeter of the park and a small basketball court. The courts are used heavily on the weekends, you would think the city would add some additional courts. Word of CAUTION, the park usually has some homeless and transient people in it at any given time. Some keep to themselves, but not all. The benches and tables aren't reliably sanitary as they are used for sleeping.
Nice park. My kiddo had a lot of fun playing here plenty of room to run around. There were a few homeless people in tents over by the trees near a pic nic area but they didnt bother anyone. I really like that the park is very open you can see all over so if yoir kids really like to run around i think its a good place to go. Lots of beautiful trees. No stickers in the grass. Plenty of room to play. And lots of kids to play with at pretty much any given time.
Over all it's a basic park. The local homeless frequent the area so it can be a bit sketchy at times. The seagulls don't hybrinat here anymore so that's a bonus. It's a bustling community center and great for Pokemon Go.

A very scenic park and generally quiet, with a little traffic of the occasional bicycle rider. There are a bunch of trails of the main path to enjoy. I usually get 10,000 steps in and the time flies by because it's so pretty and fun to visit. It's al
Have been going to this park for nearly 50 yrs. Great park and many great updates over the years. Playground, big field, soccer goals, backstop, walking path and picnic tables.
This is a great park for kids of all ages! There are swings for special needs and toddlers available, short and tall slides, rock climbing walls, monkey bars, ladders, and a shaded picnic area equipped with a charcoal grill and trash cans. Two of the
We love this spot. Have been coming here for years. My daughter loves to splash in the lake and feed the ducks and spend a few minutes on the playground before we leave.
