Beautiful park to spend time with your family. Very clean and safe.
Pretty small and a bit overgrown, but there are a couple nice trails through the woods and the beach area is nice and clean. Good spot for some relaxed fishing and there's a little playground structure and basketball hoop for kids. Beach hours aren't great, it's closed most of the time. Water is clear and it's a pretty nice view in the mornings
Used to be nice, not the dock area is rotted away and a lot of the people who do go there have the inability to throw away their garbage and leave it scattered around on both land and water.

I have loved this place for years incredible memories when my child was younger and all her friends all became all my step kids,place is peaceful clean not crowded with tons of people..people respect the beauty this place gives everyone cleans up after them selves ..little ones well behaved ..hold tons if memories in my heart ❤️

The is beautiful! I was disappointed to see that the park that used to be there for the little ones had been taken down. Now they only have a small jungle gym type thing. No slides or swings. It was disappointing to see! My husband had asked me to pull in to show me the park and beach area, not realizing that I've been there perviously (quite some time ago!). Overall the area in general was nice, however it definitely felt as though the few cars that were stopped in the parking lot were there for the wrong reasons. There was a young gentleman who had gotten out of his vehicle and was walking aimlessly around, he appeared somewhat out of it... There was another vehicle they had what looked like two young people sitting in the front seats who kept looking around anxiously. Just gave a very uncomfortable vibe given it appeared to be in a family friendly area. I'll give it another chance, maybe closer to summer though. Fingers crossed that it stays beautiful and that other adults can help to keep the area safe.
