Swiss Alps Inn - Featured Reviews (226)
We had a wonderful experience all the way around! We had to change our room reservation and they helped me get that moved over with no additional charge. When we arrived, they checked us in quickly, showed us the room options and were very friendly and helpful! Super friendly staff, the beds were comfy, they worked with us on a late checkout, provided information about the area, pool was great—everything was perfect! We absolute will stay here again!!!
No breakfast, no fitness center, no room maintenance, unsafe practices and unsanitary, no daily house cleaning services, and are so cheap they don't leave the fridge on. Going to any motel, I would expect these things and not be upset, but those also cost $50 a night. For $140 a night (what I paid at Swiss Alps), I expect some kind of luxury, at least an apple I can grab in the morning?
Multiple items in our room were broken: our room window had no screen and was left unlocked by staff, the curtain rod was unattached, the hook for towels was ripped off the wall.
The mini fridge and coffee maker is in the bathroom right beside the toilet....extremely unsanitary and unsafe.
Lastly, everyone has 1 physical key that allows them into their room, the pool area, and to the vending machines...meaning that everyone has the same key. What is keeping the room next door from opening your own room in the middle of the night? Unsettling.
Overall, it was extremely outdated and overpriced. If you are planning a Scuba trip through any training facility: Go through the headache. Book a lower priced, nicer room down the road and drive over to Swiss Alps to meet with your instructors. It will be worth the hassle.
The gentleman at the front desk was probably the friendliest motel attendant I've ever come across. The rooms were very nice, but a bit dated. My harshest critique is the pillows. They were flat. Other than that the place was neat and clean and I would certainly stay again.
Very quaint place with lots of history. Hot tub and swimming pool, location is great. Would come back for sure!
Great place for a little get-away. Comfortable beds with clean bedding. Bathroom was clean and towels were plentiful. We will definitely be back.
This is a great place. The rooms are clean and just as good as any of the bigger chains. The staff was friendly and the fun of staying in a locally owned hotel right next to the cool train themed restaurant makes for a great experience. I’ll be staying here again.
The Swiss Alps Inn is a fun place! It’s quiet, kid friendly and so much more!!!
It is right next to Dairy keen and it’s family owned! There is a pool and a hot tub which is really comfortable!
Quality:
Room was In good condition and was quiet. The shower also lasted a long time!!! WIFi was okay.
Staff:
We had a problem where the jets wouldn’t turn on in the hot tub, so we called and they said they would have the guy come and it would be 10 minutes! Just before he came the jets turned on, but the guy came anyways! Staff so nice 🥺❤️
Overall it was perfect for 4 people and was cozy. I would definitely go here!!!
We had to find a hotel last minute and this place was wonderful. The rooms are well maintained and there are enough special touches that you feel you're getting a lot more value than what you paid. Nice, big, clean room with a sizeable bathroom and tub. Folded fancy towels and even some "stained towels for messy jobs" that make the guest feel okay using these hotel towels to actually clean up messes. I've never seen that in a hotel and it made me feel very comfortable. I wish I could have checked out the hot tub or pool, but I'm sure I will next time we come through town. There were signs indicating short-staffedness and I have to say that there was no lack of attention and care during our stay due to lack of staff. We still had a spotless room and had cleaners come in the morning. Thanks so much for taking care of us the day after Christmas. I hope you stay in business for many many years so we can keep returning.
This property is absolutely amazing! Everything from the breakfast area to my room was meticulously cleaned. Check-in was simple and quick as well as getting logged into the WiFi. The pool/hot tub were open 24 hours which was a nice surprise. The fit
Just delicious and unique! Anytime I'm in the Salt Lake City area, I take the lovely drive up Provo Canyon for a stop here. Chocoletier and coffeehouse. When you get a Mocha, you have a choice of a variety of gourmet specialty chocolate. I also ord

Hands down this Resort should receive 10 Stars. The staff, facilities, amenities, etc is amazing!!!!!! Cache, Matt, Josh, Cody, and all the front desk employees are by far amazing! I am in the customer service industry also, and this team is amazing!
Sure! Here's a review for Black Rock Mountain Resort:
"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Black Rock Mountain Resort and it was an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beauty and tranquility of the surrounding
We've been wanting to try this place for so long and finally had the opportunity to do so. Wish we would've sooner! This place is great!! The food is absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is great. It's obviously a hot spot as it was packed when
What a busy Dutch Broâs! Their drive thru line was long, so we went up to the order window (this was at 9am). Great service and coffee! The soft top is delicious.
Took the family for the polar express experience. It was enjoyable for the tiniest people to the grandparents. Beautiful scenery, fun interactive employees. GREAT cookies! We also got free hot chocolate that was a little cold but it was still good.
