The coffee is good. The pastries are just fine for the price - the staff didn’t warm them up before serving, which could definitely improve the flavor. There were also a couple of bugs flying around them. I would suggest to keep them in a box or something, rather than exposed. Also, we bought some coffee bags, and they didn’t offer a complementary coffee, which we later heard it is given for free when you buy a coffee bag. I just feel like the staff could pay more attention to the service they provide to keep consistency.
Baristas were attentive and the Fall Seasonal Latte was delicious. Worth the visit to see such a unique social spot in Alexandria. Will definitely bring friends and family by in the future.
One of the best places for good coffee and studying. Large and sunny interior. They care about where coffee comes from and they build relations with farmers and others in the business to make sure their business is beyond the coffee standards such as ethical farming. I have seen the same employees in the shop, which makes me think that they are also happy. I am happy to support local roasters and Swing's deserves it.
Great espresso drinks, but a little pricy. Considering the area, quite understandable. Beautifully decorated with an ample patio out front. Kind and quick service. Excellence here!

Nice quiet coffee house, brewing up some fine Joe. They even have some cool seasonal selections. I tried an expresso mule and it was quite tasty.
Favorite local coffee spot and they have been roasting in the area for over 100 years! Great vibe and yummy coffee! Expect longer lines at peak times but they go quickly. Limited bakery options for food, but do have gluten free options as well. A must for the coffee connoisseur. Easy to walk to from across Alexandria and near a dog park, the Y and Aldi too which we love.
My coffee drink of choice is an oat milk cortado, and they make it to perfection. But be warned, their prices are a bit steep, so I limit how often I go, and the seats are ridiculously uncomfortable, seriously, for the price of the coffee please invest in some better seating! But all is forgiven, because their coffee is truly the best in town, and so I'll be back.
