Swepson Guesthouse - Hotel in Louisville - 1236 S Shelby St, USA

Booked the entire guesthouse for our wedding weekend. The owner let us come see the space before booking it, which was extremely helpful. The space was perfect to accommodate most of our wedding party and family comfortably. We utilized the top floor for our rehearsal dinner, which was around 50 people. We also utilized the top floor for the bridal party getting ready and the photos turned out to be beautiful in that space. The location of the guesthouse is perfect for getting to downtown Louisville which is where our wedding venue was. My only feedback would be when planning the staff was not super timely with responses for catering, table and chair rentals and chauffeur recommendations. Also the options presented were extremely expensive. I would recommend doing your own research for outside vendors. However the staff was very accommodating for the other vendors we decided to use. The other downside was the stairs, but we knew that going into it so totally out of their control. Just something to consider there is no elevator so just keep that in mind when renting it out the top floor! Overall would definitely book here again!

The details and the extra mile from The Swepson employees really made our weekend a success! We rented the Guesthouse for Derby Weekend, and I would rent it again in a heartbeat. The customer service was amazing, anything we needed they saw too promptly. The unit was clean and furnished well. The venue was so pretty it needed very little to decorate for a dinner party! I have only amazing things to say about The Swepson and Superstays managing team, they were the best!

We loved the Loft and had everything we needed for a great stay in Louisville. Great customer service with many recommendations on where to enjoy local food and beverage.

We had the top two floors of the swepson and it was awesome. Would most definitely stay there again. The 2nd floor had a TON of rooms for all of us staying there. We had 10 guys so this was literally perfect everyone could have their own rooms between the two floors. The upstairs had a great hang out area for all of us with a full kitchen and patio for cigars. Extremely large open space with a huge table in the middle of it. We had a great time, felt safe and it was close to Whiskey Row which was great!

I cannot say enough good things about our stay at this short-term rental property! Our large group of friends was in town for a weekend getaway, and this rental was the perfect choice. The space was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated the large kitchen, which was perfect for cooking group meals. The location was also fantastic, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options nearby. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout our stay, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're looking for a great rental property for a large group, this is the one to choose!

Hey, I came with my women’s basketball team for the weekend for a retreat and the Guest House was absolutely beautiful. The house was very clean and looked exactly like the pictures online! The guest house also included a variety of outdoor seating and fun games. Also the 3rd floor had a great view of the downtown Louisville neighborhood which the house was located in! Overall staying in the Guess House was a 10/10 experience!
