Sweet Diner - Brunch restaurant in Milwaukee - 239 E Chicago St #103, USA

I was blown away by not only the presentation and quantity of the food, but by how flavorful each bite was. Incredible! The options were endless and it was difficult to choose just one item. I ended up getting two and had leftovers—for two meals. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service is great! Attentive staff. Beautiful place. Prices were average, but for the quality of service and quantity, the prices are amazing. I highly recommend Sweet Diner. I wish there was one in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Truly. One of the best meals I’ve had.

Came here for breakfast while in Milwaukee! Excellently clean and classy establishment! The dishes and everything looked like it was from your dreams. The chicken and biscuits was incredible and the charred corn made it!!!! Everything was excellent that my family had was exquisite! Only one note from the visit toward the negative, The wait staff was very nice but don’t expect much personality or guidance when ordering.

Food was amazing, you can really taste that it is good quality. Pretty expensive. I got an egg white veggie omelet and it was delicious, the toast and English Muffins were bad though. The service was pretty good, she didn't come around often and looked at us funny for wanting paper menus. The hosts, I assume the owners, didn't seem like they wanted to be there 😭.

There is always a great vibe at this restaurant. The tables are nicely spaced so that you don't feel cramped while you're eating. No reservations are accepted, and there is ALWAYS a wait. Do not come starving!! Being downtown, parking is terrible, but the food is worth the effort. Highly recommend!

We loved our food here and the atmosphere! I was really impressed with our waitress who asked if I wanted my bacon crispy or regular and some other questions to make sure we got our breakfast exactly how we wanted! I got the berry blast pancakes and bacon. I wish I had been a little more adventurous but the food was still great! Definitely worth eating here!! Everything looked great!

The food & presentation was amazing!! Love the look and feel of this place! Unfortunately, I felt the service could have been a little better. I sat at the bar because I was eating alone and getting some work done - was craving some good breakfast - but I had gotten the sausage gravy and was not a fan at all of it. I asked the server if it was the correct kind because he mentioned there was two kinds- and he said it was correct. I told him I didn't like it (in a nice way) and I felt like he didn't care. I paid $4 for a cup of gravy that I only had a small bite of. I used to work in the restaurant industry, and he didn't even say sorry or anything. Just asked for me to pay.. and then walked away. Anyways, I still tipped well because I know how it is - just wish the service was better for me. Love the crepes, drinks, and biscuits, though!

This place was worth the wait, we were told 20-30 minute wait but it didn’t really take that long. We had a party of 6, the waiter explained the menu nice and clear to understand. The menu is an awesome pick of food and made just right for the most part. I do wish for the future they serve beef bacon, beef sausage and grits. Our drinks and food took no time; food was hot and presented nicely. The atmosphere was just right, not too loud, not too quiet, smell of fresh food, food prepared to where you can see what’s happening depending where you stand or sit, clean tables, clean condiments, clean silverware, clean cups and very clean bathrooms. I personally had a Bloody Mary, chicken and waffles, breakfast potatoes, three scrambled eggs with cheese and an order of corn beef meat which I placed on my eggs😋. I had to order another side of potatoes for home they were so good and not dried out, I rarely finish breakfast potatoes anywhere. My family enjoyed our time there and kept in mind people are waiting lets get up to share the experience. We thank you guys for an unique experience.

We visited on a mid Saturday morning. It was busy and very loud. We had to almost yell to conversate. I definitely wouldn't return during a busy time. Service was good; no complaints and nothing exemplary. I had the vegetarian omlette. It was ok. My friend had the samon (smoke) bendict and loved it.
