Good place to sit, children play, and just hang out. I go there to eat my takeout lunch 😁. Yesterday, I was there trying to find Ricky's retreat. It is located in Deer Run. This is one of the nicer parks in Onslow County. Very nicely laid out with restrooms and pavilion for shade in the hot summer months. Great playground and splash pad for kids.
I enjoyed taking my Kids to this park they have a small but decent/pad at least it's closed in so that unwanted don't get out or in. They also have some workout equipment tennis courts dog park walking area multiple parks for kids multiple ages although we don't live in swansborough this city knows how to spend its taxpayers dollars for the taxpayer. It's almost as if they realize the money that comes out of our paychecks that pays their salary and paves the roads should be spent on the people that pay it and all the things that are in our great communities.
We love the Swansboro park for many reasons! It has great walking paths and a huge fenced in dog park!! I was looking for a new place to let my dogs run and they love it here!! Tons of things to smell, trees to enjoy and its kept very clean! There are two benches for me to sit on while letting my dogs explore and a wonderful gated off entrance to allow easy transition on and off the leash. We will be back when my dogos need a change of pace from our backyard for sure!
Please reopen the skate park. It’s been way to long the skate park in swansboro was fought hard for and has a lot of heart behind it.. such a shame to see it rust away into nothing.. please reopen skatepark
Great park something for the entire family to keep busy.
We weren't happy to see the climbing net gone, and caution tape on the merry-go-round, but it was a nice day and still one of our favorite parks.
Clean, friendly. Easy to sign up for programs. Good rates.
