My wife and I had a wonderful time here. An excellent breakfast was served every morning and our room was very comfortable. The view from the balcony was stunning! Monica was very accommodating and is a great hostess. We would definitely stay here again!
This was our first trip to Alaska and needed a place to stay at the beginning and at the end of our stay. Monica and Steve were so accommodating to our needs, with everything from check in to check out. Their home is beautiful and comfortable and the breakfast divine. Walkable to downtown Anchorage was a plus and minutes from the airport! The view was spectacular as was our entire vacation. We plan to go back and stay with them again! Highly recommend!
Great location. Great, friendly and caring hosts. I spent a few nights here on my visit to Alaska with my son. The hosts were flexible with my requests and very accommodating to me and my son. I am very appreciative of their hospitality as it made my visit to Alaska very convenient and rewarding. The morning breakfast was delicious. This is my first choice for future visits to Alaska. Highly recommend this b&b.
This B&B is excellent!! Great breakfast with plenty of choice, even for the most picky eaters. Views are incredible, even saw Denali from the breakfast room! Very comfortable bed, we enjoyed a great nights sleep. Monica is The Best Hostess, doing everything to make you feel at home. And this is exactly the feeling we got at Susitna place after our cruise, it felt like coming home.
So happy we found Susitna Place for our stay in anchorage. Monica was a great hostess giving us advice on things to do and places for dinner, she took care of our reservations and contacting transportation for us. Rooms were very nice and breakfast was plentiful. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.
A wonderful stay at Sustina place in Sept.Monica was very welcoming and friendly making our stay one of the highlights staying in Anchorage before our cruise. The bedrooms with ensuites are very comfortable and decorated nicely.The breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold food,coffee and tea available 24/7.The views were amazing from the living area and balcony.The bnb is in a close location to walk to downtown with many resturants and bakeries.We had a great stay and would highly recommend staying here.
Excellent one night stay at a comfortable B&B. We stayed with our 7 year old son in the Iliana room. The B&B is walking distance to downtown with amazing views over the water and a great breakfast. Our room was in the lower/basement level but was a good size with a large bathroom with plenty of room. Monica was SUPER gracious about allowing us to do laundry there as we were midway into our trip and needed some refreshing.
We stayed for one night in the Denali Suite. It was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. Monica was the perfect host, giving us excellent dinner recommendations, and helping us with supplies to clean our hiking boots before flying home. Breakfast was delicious - so many options of hot and cold dishes, and she even had good tea! It looked like it would be a beautiful deck and view, but we were unable to enjoy it much because of rain. It was close to all the downtown restaurants and shops and the Coastal Trail. We would definitely stay here again.
