Absolutely..hands down the best Chinese food I've had. The portions are huge, the prices are very reasonable, and Susie has a way of making u feel like ur a longtime friend. I cant say this for other Chinese restaurants here in Pendleton but at Susie's you can rest assured that the chicken is really chicken & the pork is really pork! This in itself brings me comfort and brings me back in.
First time order.
Orange flavored chicken- soggy, no flavor
Pork fried rice- microscopic pork pieces. You won't notice there is pork unless you look very closely. The rice taste as if it was cooked in a dirty pan with old oil. Left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth.
Beef lo mein- the beef was still bloody and the noodles were way over cooked. Trying to mix it just turned into a mushy mess.
Egg drop soup- no flavor and the consistency of jello. You can pick it up with a fork.
On a positive note* the order was done quick, and the customer service was great.
My wife and I were traveling through the area. We stopped for lunch here after looking for best Chinese food.
Everything was fabulous, the food was served hot the vegetables were colorful and cooked to perfection! We will stop here next time we are traveling through! Great Job Susie, also the service was prompt and Suzie was very polite. Wish this restaurant was closer to our home in Boise.
A little chaotic but friendly. They take good care of their oil. I tend to dislike many Chinese/American because of the grease. They did will here. Happy they had good ol' plain pan fried noodles as well.
I will definitely come here again. The service was excellent especially considering how many to go orders they had. The deep fried shrimp was overcooked but everything else was delicious! They make most everything from scratch and it shows. I do t know how their sweet and sour chicken was cooked so perfectly but it was! The fried rice is epic. The chow menu was loaded with hand chopped veggies! And the hot tea was nice and strong. The hot mustard was next level hot though!
The service was good, the food was excellent. I would recommend this place to sit in and enjoy. I’ve also have done take out.
Quality food at a good price! Cute little spot. Nice owner (hi Susie!). Clean. More menu choices than most other Chinese restaurants. Thank you.
Really really unedible. I had sweet and sour chicken and fried rice none of which was even consumable. Tried to peel dried crust off chicken but the chicken was also dry and unedible. Egg flower soup was good and little complimentary egg roll was fair. Never ever again !
Incredible service, quick and attentive, amazing food, ginormous portion sizes on their cheap lunch menu. ð so so so glad we stopped here!!! Clean and tidy little cute place.
An incredibly eye opening experience! We left with a completely different view of the history we've been taught compared to reality, so sad, and wished we could apologize to everyone on behalf of all the awful things we did to all the native tribes.
