This is not your cookie cutter sushi joint. Terry offers a top notch meal while maintaining the neighborhood feel of local casual dining. Sorry at the bar and ask for the special of the day, you will not be disappointed.
Whole in the wall place but so worth it. I traded it out for some high end rooftop restaurant and so glad I did. Sushi was so fresh tasting. Shumai so moist and soft and flavorful. Husband loved his udon as well. They have alcohol and amazing food- everything you need for a good time
We went here for my older sister’s birthday. It is a lovely little restaurant with great food and superb waitstaff. We were really blown away by how cool this place was!
I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 4 years and May I say that I cannot believe what I have been missing! A friend recommend me and I have no regrets. The food here is absolutely fantastic, and the staff here are so genuinely great and friendly!
Very good flavor in the Bulgogi beef. Ordered Carterpillar and Drangon Rolls, also tasty. Cozy place and good service.
Nice place but too fussy for dinner Price was on par with other sushi establishments but food (Sushi, Ton Katsu) portions were smaller than most other restaurants in my experience, leaving taste on the lighter side, still tasty but nothing I would seek out again. Atmosphere was clean and welcoming with large bar dining (single seats) Service felt rushed even though it was not busy (several tables open 630pm) but table clearing was excessively fussy. The server cleaned after anything was set on the table (straw cover, napkins, plates still being eaten) but only asked once if everything was OK before the check came. This gives the impression they are more interested in cycling customers and expediting cleaning than a comfortable dining experience. This seems a great place for a quick in-n-out downtown high traffic lunch spot but not so much for social dining with friends.
The quality and freshness of fish was very impressive. This is a nice sushi restaurant and I was delighted with the quality. The only minus was that there choices in deserts are limited to two options neither of which I would order. Otherwise I will be back to Sushiya for more great sushi
Iâve never ordered something off the menu that I wasnât absolutely impressed by. It always exceeds my expectations. The service staff are friendly and the food is amazing. Great spot for an intimate date night!
Love this location in beautiful area surrounding more amazing eating places and a water fountain. Food was just as good as the service. We had a great waitress definitely will be back again soon.
