Sushi is Amazing! If you are a traditional sushi goer, they do a spectacular job, if you like to live on the edge and try something new, the Paradise Roll..fresh tuna, mango, macadamia, avocado and a delightful cream sauce. Also...My husband highly recommends firecrackers, deliciously stuffed tempura jalapenos w/cream cheese and spicy tuna (pic included)
Excellent service, generous portions, and a large menu. We went for lunch and enjoyed Sushi and entrees the service was fast and the food presented well and was a good value for money.
Went in with my family for my birthday today and was overall pleased! We ordered from the kitchen and sushi and everything was amazing, I devoured several rolls in minutes and all washed down with a Kirin. The original guy working was a complete jerk and openly spoke of quitting (because it was busy) and I watched him repeatedly put down a young lady working there who never showed emotion and ended up serving us perfectly. I tipped her good and left a note saying I was sorry she had to work with a jerk. Overall it's a great place, just drop the idiot guy with earrings, the way he spoke to his fellow employee was terrible and how he arrogantly spoke to customers about everything was painful to hear. The photo says it all. A+
Highly recommend for sushi in Eugene!! I’ve gotten take out many times, but ate in for the first time last night and it was amazing as ever. Service was very quick, clean atmosphere, hot sake, and very good rolls! Wish the rolls were a bit larger for the price but the quality is good. Really great sushi!
I have never been a big fan of sushi, so when my partner and I biked through downtown looking for dinner, Sushi Ya was an unlikely choice. I order the Teriyaki salmon Bento box, and oh my! We have been back many times since. With Spidey and He Man for photographic fun.
Jason was my server and I will happily be back weekly just for his service alone. Food was impeccably fresh and tasty, clearly made with love. Prices are amazing for the quality. Working downtown gives you tons of food options but this is one of my new fav spots. after visiting at least 5 times now I can confidently say they are consistent.
Took my bestie there recently and we had the seaweed salad, which is really rich, and I had the rock n roll and the Philadelphia roll! Both were good tho the Philadelphia was a touch on the too fishy side. Unagi was superb! Service was odd, tho, our waitress brought us the check before we were done ordering beer and we were sort of abandoned after that. Cozy atmosphere! Love the decor.
I’ve been eating here for 7 or 8 years maybe, both in the restaurant and by take out. It’s not a fancy sushi spot, but it’s mellow and consistent. The portions are great, especially for nigiri, and the fish is decent quality. I love their simple rolls, oishii and negi sake norimaki being two of my favorites, but they’ve got lots of options (sushi and non-sushi) for everyone. When I compare price, quality, portions, and options, Sushi Ya is consistently my favorite and my go-to sushi spot in Eugene.
Best sushi in Eugene! Sushi Station is our go-to sushi restaurant here in Eugene. Always friendly, the staff here is attentive and professional. The sushi chef never fails to please our taste buds. Plenty of comfortable elbow room at every table, ev
This was a surprise find on a trip to Eugene. We went on our first night; but based on the owner, friendly atmosphere, and crowd, we went back each night we were in the area. George has the best selection of craft beers that I've seen, and his esta
