Sushi Train - Sushi restaurant in Lacey - 8765 Tallon Ln NE, USA

1st ever time to one of these style sushi spots with the rotating track of food…Wasn’t expecting much but to my surprise, the food was solid! Fairly priced! And the service was good. Got sat really fast and with 30 secs of sitting down I was eating a shrimp tempura roll followed by many others! All were good, def not the best sushi I have ever had but for what I would consider “fast food” it was very very good for a quick, affordable Saturday lunch. The calamari appetizer is also fantastic!

I took my kids for sushi night and it was a fun experience but they were hoping for more veggie rolls on the conveyor belt. They were pretty busy but the servers were attentive. The rolls we tried were fresh and tasted pretty good. The cost depends on the color of the little plates. The fried ice cream was alright. All in all not a bad experience.

This is our families favorite sushi place. Great food. Wonderful service! Fun for the family!!!

Ok, so I know these places have been around for a while, but I had never been to one. I love the little belt that comes by so you can see the sushi and pick what you like. This is good for me because I can never remember what rolls I like. The young man at the counter was very helpful and explained what the weird red tipped claw looking thing was ( turns out it was clam) prices also were reasonable, I spent about double at trappers and had horrible service 2/3 times I went.... So I think this might be my new sushi spot. The only down side, and why I ranked this 4 star instead of 5 is, the variety was not that great they had multiple of certain kinds, but others only saw once. I waited for EVER for one I saw the guy put on the belt and then the table before us grabbed it... Lammmme. Otherwise great experience tho and I will definitely be back

Came to this area for neighbor restaurant. Hangry wife decided on sushi train instead…. Great decision, it was fun, delicious and memorable moment. Recommended for any one!

Food is phenomenal, our favorite spot! We love the atmosphere, staff, and food. Always friendly and accommodating, EVERYthing tastes delish. Nothing will disappoint! I vouch! The train is so fun!! I recommend the black plates especially, always a fun treat. Very affordable and super fresh too, staffs like family! Definitely a gem. Come support ❤️🍣

This was not my first choice for sushi today but the other place I wanted to had a long wait time. In saying that, this was my first visit to Sushi Train and it did not disappoint. It is a cozy little place with friendly staff, ok decor and most of all the food was delicious. We decided to order off the menu instead of the conveyor belt. We got a side seaweed salad and I could have ate my weight in that salad, so good. The rolls we ordered were the Wow, Rock and Roll, Lava and Sushi Train. They all differed from each other and were good in their own right but I really liked the Rock and Roll and Lava Roll. Going in I was not expecting much but I went away thinking I would recommend this place.

Good little spot for Kaitenzushi, aka Sushi that moves on a conveyor belt type device. The prices are fair, and the quality is decent. The choices are more crowd pleaser types of sushi, some heavy on sauce, some fried, etc. But there was also a good selection of more traditional sushi items like sashimi and recognizable cut rolls. My son had a good time pointing at items for me to grab, and the restaurant was kid friendly. Not 5 stars because it was not a gourmet place, and the quality could come up another notch, but I'm sure the price would too. You can also order off the menu, which we did not do, I did notice they had Takoyaki on there so I will need to return to try that, as it's a favorite dish!
