We ordered a Sushi Party Platter for Christmas Eve. Sushi Time put this masterpiece together. The only thing better than how great it looks was how fantastic every bite tasted! Highly recommend for your next gathering.
Good local sushi restaurant. Plan to order big as it can take a little while to get there and often arrives in waves. The rolls are not as good as other specialty sushi locations where you buy each roll, but if you select well it is well worth it and much less expensive.
Literally the worst sushi place I’ve ever been in Idaho. We had the all you can eat option (donnerand none of the rolls were decent, A LOT of rice and basically no filling at all. At one point we stopped ordering sushi and just had gioza. When we got our check the waitress just threw(literally) the check on our table.
Sushi Time is the best all you can eat (AYCE) sushi in Eastern Idaho. AYCE aside, Sushi Time also just has some of best sushi rolls around. My favorite roll is the Full House. This roll has tons of raw fish in it and is topped with the scallop mix. I’ve only been here during dinner time. The price per person may be high, but its so worth it if you’re going to eat more than two rolls. The quality of the sushi is really good. I’ve only had a couple pieces that were heavily saturated with rice vinegar. I’m not a fan of the dessert rolls, but that’s anywhere I go. I did try the quail egg shooter. That was a wild experience. Remember, try the Full House Roll. I recommend Sushi Time.
Super love the food, cooks, and waitstaff here! Everything tasted great and the workers were very nice. The only thing I'd like to mention to the OWNERS is that you really should have changing stations in the bathroom. At least ONE in any of the bathrooms. Disappointed that we came in with my 7 month old and we had to go out to our car and change him in the backseat....
I would not recommend going for dinner on a weekend. They seem to be frazzled by rushes and unable to manage. We were seated, and then forgotten about for 45 minutes. When we flagged down a manager, everyone was apologetic and nice. The food took a while, understandably because they were busy, but by that time we were done with waiting, so we got the check and left. We wanted to give them a second chance and went for lunch on a Friday. The service was very fast, and our rolls were brought out quickly. The server was very attentive to our needs as well. But as an avid sushi lover, the sushi wasn't great. The seaweed was soggy and chewy, the rice was overcooked, and everything was oversalted.
I was visiting family in Idaho and they recommended dinner at Sushi Time, and I am glad they did. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The staff were very pleasant. Our server Clara was very friendly and attentive, and took very good care of us. I enjoyed a chicken teriyaki bento box and my family enjoyed a number of sushi rolls. All, very tasty. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are hungry and in the area. Thanks!
We haven’t been to Sushi Time in about a year, but it was just as great as I remember it. There are two doors, and “enter” and an “exit”. I walked in the wrong door, but it was easy to tell where to check in and where to cash out. Signs were posted in the lobby area apologizing for the wait as they are understaffed, but we had next to no wait at all. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Portion sizes and rolls are generous for the price. And the drink menu is fair as well. The food was tasty, and of the appropriate temp when it was served.
We came here for a special occasion. We ordered the appetizer sampler which is a great choice if you canât pick just one appetizer. We also ordered a lot of rolls. They were good, itâs hard to say how they compare to other sushi here in town. I w
