Sushi Pop Restaurant - Japanese restaurant in Oviedo - 310 W Mitchell Hammock Rd, USA

We used to visit the Winter Park location, but sadly they closed. We were happy to learn there’s an Oviedo location. It’s located in a small strip plaza with a couple other stores. Hard to see, but it’s there. It’s super close to our home! The place is decorated very nicely, has cushion seats across the wall. The food was good, as expected. Our server was very attentive and kept checking in on us. The drinks were also good, we ordered Jalapeño Margaritas.

Where to begin? This is my second time here and one of our friends first time. She's from the Tampa area and said this place may make her move to Oviedo. The food is absolutely amazing. I can't tell you which dish is better, so I'll name a few. Hot chicken sandwich (they ran out of the homemade tater tots), spring rolls, fish tacos, King Salmon belly and bao Benedict The drinks just add to the experience.

We sat at the sushi bar and the seats are excellent. We loved the entire vibe of the place. The two rolls of sushi and the house beer/mock tail were phenomenal taste wise. The service was terrible. I mean we forgot your order bad. We ended our night at another restaurant after an over 2 hour wait for 4 pieces of sushi. It took 40 plus minutes to get a beer. We watched as the server turned in our order after communicating with staff our distress of waiting. They forgot? I don’t know. Again the food was so good. I’m just glad we checked out in time to get dinner somewhere else. The service is that bad. Thanks!

A hidden gem! Great food and atmosphere, service is amazing as well! Their Espresso martini is one of the best I've had. We shared a bunch of dishes, pics are the short ribs and PMS dessert-salted caramel ice cream and chocolate lava cake with a PB crumble. Have gone for brunch and dinner, both amazing!!!

Very similar vibe to Kabooki but less expensive. We were much more impressed with both their hot and cold tastings over their sushi. However, some of the dishes were too salty, like the KFC wings. Honestly, the sushi was a bit of a let down, and the amaebi has a weird bitter aftertaste. Service was friendly, and prices were reasonable. I'd go back, but I would stick to hot and cold tastings.

Best sushi in Oviedo. Great service and chill atmosphere. Even spring rolls are on a different level. Will definitely be back!

We did magical dining and happy hour at the sushi bar! Restaurant was super busy but we were still taken care of. Highly recommend. Flavors were fantastic. They even have fresh wasabi as an option! Happy hour allowed us to taste a few of what was to come. For magical dining I got the chirashi which was delicious I loved the pickled veggies (and they had lotus root my fav). My friend a roll and upgraded to A5 Wagyu nigiri. Dessert blew us away as well! The Pms and the Panama cotta were both delicious. Definitely will be back OFTEN.

Have not been here in a while, and they have expanded since I was last here. They have brunch on the weekends now, too. We went during the middle hours, aka happy hours, which is 3 to 6 on the weekend. Not too busy, and we sat at the bar. The HH menu was a good mix of things with fantastic drinks. We had large rolls from the regular menu and HH rolls. All were equally delicious. Everything was very fresh. The service was great and timely.
