Sushi Murasaki - Sushi restaurant in Greenville - 2 S Main St, USA

The food is overall tasty. I had the hibachi super seafood and it was great. A friend had a noodle dish that he really liked. The gyoza and cream cheese wontons were very good. Although I didn't care for the sweet sauce with the wontons. The bad meal of the night was my wife's hibachi steak. It was grey....almost like it was boiled. No browning/sear at all from the grill. The service was "ok". This place is very busy! So, don't expect super fast or extra attention. On the Orient side of the restaurant, there is only one restroom. You may have to wait in line ir venture to the sushi murasaki side. I don't say all of this to discourage anyone. We will be back ourselves. I would just want anyone reading the review to make an informed decision.

It was so good, we went two days in a row. The Krazy Boy sushi is FANTASTIC.

The food is great but man… if you order a pickup/to-go order, check for everything. You’ll be very lucky if everything is in the bag. They frequently leave out items, extra sauces (that you paid extra for), utensils, and napkins. This has happened multiple times and once, even when I asked her if she included utensils and she said yes, I got home and there weren’t any. Check your bag.

Tuna rolls, Salmon rolls, avocado rolls and onigiri... Atmosphere is spacious, exposed brick walls, staff down to earth and attentive. Miso was spot on.

Mussels Yaki is a very good dish here. I get it every time! It's been 4 years since I reviewed Murasaki... and it's still fantastic! Tonight, we had Karzy boy roll Bagle roll and Seafood Ramen. All was delicious! Great service, although the restaurant was very busy.

Was it the best ramen in my life? No. Would I go again? ABSOLUTELY. I went here after a cold rainy ride on the Swamp Rabbit trail and I ordered the Miso ramen then the bartender recommended the SPICY Miso ramen. I couldn’t say no! Ramen was delicious, service was excellent, place was clean, beer is cold, prices are very reasonable. I would go again and again if I could. Try this place out if you want some yummy ramen! 😄
