Sushi Lucy in North Miami exceeded our expectations! The freshness of the sushi was unparalleled, and the tranquil atmosphere made it a delightful experience, even with kids. Some of our favs were the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl and the delicious Spicy Crispy Tuna 🍣 😋 So yummy! The innovative concept of sushi boats delivering to your table added a fun element to our meal. The service was exceptional, making our culinary experience truly enjoyable. A big thank you to Sushi Lucy for a delicious and memorable dining experience! Highly recommended.

4.5 stars. Sushi Lucy is a kaitenzushi establishment with a friendly staff and good sushi. Watching the boats pass by is relaxing, and the cool atmosphere offers the right setting for a pleasant evening. They charge by the color of the plate, with an okay pricing on their items. My favorite was the hamachi roll with scallions.

Friendly environment with great food. It's definitely a place for people who like to taste a little bit of everything on the menu. Enjoyed the food, and the company kept.

Our go-to sushi spot in the neighborhood! Fresh, amazing sushi. Conveniently situated around a kaiten style rotating boat sushi bar. Highly recommended! Great people run this place and they have a loyal following. Next time you think about going to Katana, skip it and skip the wait and come to Sushi Lucy!

Finally got the time to come visit this Kaiten style sushi joint I had added to my never ending list. We don’t have a lot of these around and the other one I know of, even though it’d be considered the OG, I’m not a fan of. This place is spotless in cleanliness and that’s a bonus for me. Relatively new to the area I’d consider this a hidden gem for sure. This is kinda like the conveyor belt Kaiten style except is powered by a water stream that’s pushing the boats around and it’s also super relaxing to watch. I had several plates stack up after trying a few dishes, like the tuna tartare, rainbow roll, shrimp tartare, torched salmon nigiri and crunchy crab salad all washed down with a nice cold Kirin beer; then end with chocolate coconut mochi ice cream. The owner/manager was on site and took the time to explain how the system worked and a few of the dishes as well, so service is A1. He was very attentive and helpful at all times. Food was fresh, delicious and not overpriced like some people are complaining about. One beer, five dishes and a dessert for under $60 with 20% gratuity is not breaking the bank for a good meal in Miami considering you end up spending over $100 every time for similar places. Obviously, this is not an Omakase fine dining experience but it’s priced adequately for its portions and quality. I’ve been to that other joint at the Beach and it’s about the same in quality but old and kinda dirty. Yes this joint is newer but cleanliness has to do with the people who run the place and how they care to project themselves. Anyways, only minor issue I see with location, even though I didn’t have any problems, would be the parking situation. I can see how finding parking in that small shopping center could turn into a inconvenience for people on a busy Friday or Saturday night. Other than that, this is a joint I’d come to when the sushi cravings kick in and I don’t want to spend a fortune.

I drove past this restaurant so many times without noticing it. Today, I decide to stop and give it a try. Nice place with a conveyor belt made of floating boat loaded with sushis. The staff was super friendly, the food was good. $37 for a salmon roll, a dragon roll, a spider roll and a JB. I’ll come back.

The staff is super unprofessional. I happened to be in the area and wanted to check out this new venue and its operating hours because they were not listed on the door or building as I was walking out of another venue on the same block. I knocked on the door to get more information on their hours and offerings so I could visit at a later time. Unfortunately, I was met by a staff member who looked me in the eye and closed the gate while I was at the door, almost striking me in the head. Luckily, I'm not litigious; I was simply interested in patronizing this venue. However, if their employees think this is an appropriate way to interact with local guests, they are mistaken. They may have great sushi and a great management team, but the guest experience starts before you even enter the venue. If this is how they treat present and future guests, I will take my business elsewhere, where my patronage is appreciated. I wish this venue luck in all its future endeavors during these challenging times.
