Good place with great food! My soup was delicious! Big portions, and it was fresh! My poke bowl was ok. Fresh salad and rice was good, too. Very small amount of fish. Spicy may was good.

We really wanted to like this place but just couldn't. First, you walk in and see pictures of delicious food ... that they do not offer (what a disappointment). The inside/atmosphere seemed as though they forgot to finish the build out, so not really inviting or cozy. Food -- Calamari appetizer was unlike anything we've had - instead of the usual calamari rings, it was little calamari (whole) on a stick. The rest of the food was nothing to write home about, sushi was "ok", sashimi was good. The server was very nice though!

There's about a total of a 30 minute wait for my food. From going to the location to waiting in restaurant. They were very nice and patient with me. The sushi was well made and tasted pretty great honestly. The only issue I have is the poki bowl didn't seem to on the same level as the sushi. The chunks of meat were to big. I'm giving it a five star because outside of the preparation of my poke bowl it was still very delicious like the sushi. I'd recommend eating here atleast once. You'd probably like it.

Not a bad little strip mall sushi spot. We came in at less than an hour before closing and expected the "hurry up and get out" treatment but surprisingly we got excellent service. Thanks so much to our very attentive and friendly server, Arty! The sushi was ok but nothing to really brag about. My unagi roll was a cali roll with a sliver of eel inside and a couple of squirts of eel sauce on top. Loved the sashimi though! Hibachi was fantastic as well and prices were very reasonable. All in all a pretty good experience.

Be careful when choosing to order from here. We found hair in our food last night. One long piece in the chicken shrimp fried rice and small pieces of hair in a side order of fried rice. The first time I ordered from them, I went in person to order. The chef does not wear a hair net. He wears a cap with hair not all the way in. No gloves were on. While cooking at one point, he walked away, pulled his mask down to take a drink and wiped his nose with the side of his arm and went back to cooking. I didn’t see him wash his hands or anything. He didn’t touch the food with his hands and we had already paid at that point. The time I found hair was my third or fourth time going and I called ahead, so no time to watch them cook. Also, the meat was way over cooked. The lady who makes sushi is pretty clean. She wears gloves and mask. The hostess is sweet. Hate to write a bad review but cleanliness is the utmost importance, not just during covid but even after and before. I won’t be going back here. I may go only for the sushi since it’s a different chef and she’s off to the side and for reasons mentioned above.

The place itself is nothing fancy (but thats okay) and the the staff was very friendly. Overall, the food was pretty good. The tuna poke bowl with sweet chili was flavorful, salad was great (loved the dressing and crisp lettuce), the jalapeño Boom appetizer was tasty, and the mushroom broth soup, pretty good. The only dish I didn’t care for too much was the spicy chicken hibachi. While the flavoring was good, the chicken and veggies were disappointing for hibachi. The meat was cut into 1” cubes, dry, over-cooked. The veggies looked like and had the consistency of frozen vegetables (see my pic). I prefer Hibachi to be very fresh, meat thinly sliced, juicy, not over cooked and veggies slightly crispy. Three stars because it was good but nothing to rave about, the service came one item at a time, good thing we were sharing the meal, and our table was not picked up after like you’d expect. Rather all the dishes were piling up on our table. Not sure if this is a practice due to the pandemic 😷 or not though.

The teriyaki chicken was very sparse and very overcooked. The sushi was tiny and mainly rice. The gyoza was fine.

Amazing huge specialty sushi rolls! Pictured is the Golden California, Sushi Girl, and Alabama. Only downside is service is slow and didn’t fill our water nor notice when we were ready for the check.
