I visited this place about a year and a half ago. It was decent. Didn't really get a chance to try the highlighted dishes. The place is like half Sushi half American food. The vibe inside the building resembles that as well. Kind of unconventional but I guess they make it work. I ordered the fried calamari and it was decent but nothing special. Overall, this place was alright. It has both American food and sushi

It was a great place to eat in a pinch in Little Tokyo. They had an array of option to choose from at a reasonable price. The place is not as much of a fancy atmosphere but it's clean. The service was amazing, the server sat us down promptly but we did have to flag their attention to get the check and to-go boxes. We ordered fries (not pictured) but they aren't anything amazing and tasted a day old. The hand rolls were sensational and the yellowtail sushi roll was good too. These are amazing to order to beat the LA heat and cool down.

Great fresh sushi, my favorite were the veggie tempura. Service was great. Simple, but good choice 👍🏼

First time trying this place. It looks very welcoming from the outside, so we decided to give it a try. To start off, the service is horrible. It was one of the worst services I have ever had. We ordered a total of 4 rolls and 1 hand roll. The only rolls we really enjoyed were the hand roll and 1 regular roll. The rest of them were really bad. I do not recommend this restaurant and definitely will never return. I was very surprised at how many people came into this restaurant with such bad food.

We ordered cooked sushi (spicy tuna tempura), salmon sashimi and grilled salmon salad. Quite tasty. The washrooms could be cleaner. The chairs also needed some cleaning.

We recently dined at Sushi Gala and enjoyed a delicious meal. We ordered Chicken Katsu, Beef Chow Mein, and a combination Chow Mein with Beef, Chicken, and Shrimp. The service was excellent. We started with Three Pink Lemonades and a bottle of Soju, both of which were delicious. The food arrived promptly and was thoroughly enjoyable. The Chicken Katsu was wonderfully crispy, served with rice and vegetables. However, the miso soup, usually included with the dish, was missing. Fortunately, it could be ordered separately. The Beef Chow Mein and the combination Chow Mein with Beef, Chicken, and Shrimp were both flavorful and well-prepared. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the meat and shrimp added delightful textures. Overall, our experience at Sushi Gala was fantastic. The service was attentive, and the flavors of the dishes were exceptional. While the absence of the miso soup was a minor setback, we would gladly return for another memorable dining experience and highly recommend it to others.

My friends and I were a group of 13 and were seated immediately upon walking in! We had such a great time and really enjoyed the food. I got the Tofu Bento, which was amazing. George and Nico were the staff members who assisted us. Both were so wonderful and generous! We really appreciate their service and hope to see them again when we come back in the future.

I had the Pork Gyoza , it was crispy and spicy. Also had the Phili roll and the Firecracker roll. Staff were pleasent and not 2 long to be seated. Make sure you get registered on the front screen for a seat. As I wasnt aware to do that.
