This place has been added to our favorite place to eat sushi. Our waitress Phoebe suggested a few items on the happy hour menu and we were definitely pleased with everything. My favorite was the soft shell crab, it had an amazing taste and crunchy texture to it with a great sauce. As far as drinks my favorite is the lychee martini! The chef Chris is doing an amazing job at this place!
My husband and I went here for our anniversary. The food was amazing, the fish was so fresh and beautifully prepared. The lady that sat us told us about the Happy Hour menu and we tried EVERYTHING. My favorite was the uni and the tuna. 100/10 would definitely go again. They even made us a special dessert to celebrate. Thanks so much for making it a memorable experience.
Overall average place I'd say. The atmosphere is nice and plenty of parking. The happy hour prices appear decent but portion sizes are very small so turn out to not be the best of deals. The sashimi platter pieces were really small as you can see in the picture. The pork belly was yummy as well as the tuna tartar. I would not recommend the spicy matcha Rita that's for sure. The service from the waitress Daphne was ok; however, the kitchen service was slow and all 6 or so dishes came out at same time which was odd at that style of place and what we ordered.
They have sashimi in the happy hour menu which was really worth it! Takoyaki was delicious too. Crispy on the outside and soft inside. Service was good. Place is clean.
Nice restaurant service outstanding. I wish menu was more specific…. Example the spicy lobster roll uses buffalo sauce i HATE buffalo cant stand it and the menu doesn’t mention it… bathroom is nice has lots of stuff which are appreciated I guess on a date… but as a parent they dont have a changing table
I went into Sushi by the Heights not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised! The lychee tini hit the spot and the KC roll was fabulous. Great happy hour deals, can't wait to return.
The Happy Hour Menu get it done. The grilled duck breast medium rare came as ordered. The grilled pork belly was among the best I have ever had. The sushi sampler is great. My family loved it. I highly recommend this new addition to the Heights dining scene. Updated for 11/12..... The Sashimi Sampler is a treat. The Robata menu has seared pork belly. It is a MUST order. The wagyu gyoza are amazing, and the salmon carpaccio is especially good.
Heights Sushi is fun, nicely decorated, open later than other restaurants in the area. Great date spot, it’s quiet for conversations and the food is good. We decided to splurge on Wagyu and we were surprised- our server bought out a charcoal grill- we got to cook our wagyu ourselves and enjoy it extra hot. Please go here an order the Wagyu. It’s delicious and a fun experience.
