Sushi Bento - Sushi restaurant in Indio - 82280 CA-111, USA

Update 2023, Sushi tastes delicious and fresh, and the portions are generous. I discovered this restaurant during my road trip in 2020, and it has become my favorite lunch/dinner spot to stop by every time we drive past indio.

We weren’t sure when we got to the place since it was fairly dark and small in the restaurant. However when we ordered and got our food, we were very pleasantly surprised. The rolls were so big and of great quality. Most sushi places give more rice and less fish/meat but that was certainly NOT the case here. We were a pretty large party and ordered a good amount of food and everything came out quickly and well-made. The staff even gave us an off-the-menu sushi roll on the house after we got all of our food. Highly recommend this place. Don’t let the outside/appearance fool you, this place is a hidden gem with great food and service.

Very friendly staff and good eats. Rolls are large and flavorful. Many options to choose from. They don't sell sake or beer. Will return to try more rolls.

Best Sushi Ever! They were very polite! The Chef gave us 2 complimentary sushi pieces...to die for! Simple surroundings, Relaxed vibe, great music, excellent service! My husband and I are from out of town, and came here at the suggestion of a local guy named Andrew.....Thanks Andrew best tip ever! My favorite is the Sexy Roll & the Monkey Brains!!!!!🍣😋

I have been going here since the pandemic. This has to be one the best sushi spots in the desert. Their dinning area is fairly small and not the fanciest but the flavor makes up for that. My favorite is the Philadelphia Roll (yes I am basic) but their Philadelphia roll has to be the best I’ve had in the desert. Check them out!! And super nice people.

Sushi Bento was a disappointing experience. Yes to thick rolls as reviewers have noted, but hiding poor quality. We ordered over $200 worth of sushi that for the most part was inedible.

Love love love Sushi Bento I am a regular customer always getting take-out and recently dining in on my lunch time, the chef always has something for me to try freshly made and always checking how I'm doing and if everything has been to my liking. Love that. Best sushi around I recommend 100%

Sushi was really good and fresh. The owners are really hospitable and seem to take pride in there product and experience. There was a pretty constant flow of traffic. We ordered to go. Will be back for sure!
