Such a unique experience! The food was amazing and you can really taste the quality. We came here for a family dinner and we were all so amazed with every piece that came out. And just when we thought this couldn't end any better, they hit us with desert! 10/10 will come again ❤️
Authentic intimate BYOB omakase experience. High quality sushi from Japan. Really easy to make a reservation over the phone. Cons : would love to have seen a written out menu of everything , it would of helped with the language barrier. Also, high end reusable chop sticks would of been better for this experience instead of the cheap wooden chop sticks that you get with to-go orders. I also would have liked to have gotten more soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger with our courses. We got it served during the first course and then it was taken away. We didn’t have any during the rest of the 15 courses.
I've been here several times already. It's my go-to for omakase sushi. The sushi itself is great, and the dishes vary depending on what's fresh. But the best part of the whole experience is the personal attention you get from the owner. And it really is a sushi experience, rather than just a sushi meal. It's BYOB so you can bring your own bottle. Be on time, because everyone is served the same items at the same time. Worth a drive.
Pros: Authentic omakase experience without having to go to NYC; Japanese master with all fish from Japan. Very cozy; the whole restaurant is just the sushi bar with ten seats. Personalized attention, get to see all dishes prepared. Real wasabi. Impeccably fresh fish. Best piece of bluefin tuna I've ever had, along with a type of Japanese white fish I've never had before that was amazing. Spectacular uni, excellent toro. Best sashimi appetizer I"ve ever had. Cons: Too much of the sushi was not special, i.e., fluke, mackerel, sea bass. Though all were exceptionally good, they were still flue, mackerel, and sea bass...not the top-tier fish you would expect for $150. Appetizers were good but not particularly special.
This place is tucked away in the back alley of Fort Lee. It's a small place with 8 seats. Very intimate settings for a BYOB meal. You'll see the chef prepare the food in front of you. The ingredients are top notch. Fresh, solid Omakase. Nice to have this in NJ and easy to get to.
This was my first omakase, and a year later, after trying out many more, this still has a special place in my heart. The food is undoubtedly good, but what made this so special is chef Aoki and the staff working here. They are very attentive, pay attention to details, refill your tea when it's cold, and provide an amazing feel for Japanese hospitality. A lot of other omakase at this price range focuses more on using expensive ingredients, but lack the intimacy of sushi Aoki that makes sushi Aoki truly memorable. I am looking forward to my next time at sushi Aoki.
Took my brother here for his birthday dinner. At first we couldn't find the entrance. It's actually in the back where the parking lot is, not on the main street. We arrived early but they wouldn't let us in even though it was raining outside. We had to go to a nearby bar to wait until it was almost 8:15 for them to be ready. The chef and his wife were very nice. The omakase was good. I wish there was more fish instead of salad and other little dishes. Wish the dessert was better too. I liked the other omakase place that we went to that is nearby, better.
Excellent food and a wonderful experience. The sushi is on par with the best I've had both in and out of Japan. Chef Aoki sources all of the main ingredients from Japan specifically and it shows - each piece is its own unique delicacy. As far as Omakase goes this is up there with the best and the service is phenomenal. Can't recommend the experience highly enough. . . Since it's BYOB you can really have a well priced meal service for the quality as well.

We have been regular patrons of In Napoli for a considerable amount of time, but we have seen a decline in the overall caliber of the dining experience. Sadly, the visit this past weekend was not an anomaly. The entrees and service were quite subpar.
Very good experience. Small place, but comfortable. It's all you can eat (Monday-Thursday), but you can order only 3 times. The good thing is BYOB. It Cost $30 cash or $35 on card (2 people minimum). They serve very fast. Definitely I'll be back soon

The wait line was quick. The food was delicious! The crab and pork soup dumplings was very flavourful. But it was messy since the soup was spilling out and tearing. The Chicken Lo Mei was yum. The Beef with scallions was amazing. So soft and tender
