Surfside 3 Motel - Motel in Howard Beach - 164-33 Cross Bay Blvd, USA

It's a VERY OUTDATED motel. The location is prime around a lot of places to eat. It's on the water, which is cute. The smell of Marijuana reeked throughout the halls. They do short stays, which we did before driving back to FL. Definitely not kid friendly place. It was clean and had the basics. Like soap and towels. Nothing fancy. The bed was comfortable, and pillows did the job. Nice big mirrors 😊

Great place. Clean rooms Comfortable beds. Staff is friendly and helpful Needed a bottle of water at 3am, staff opened the case for me and gave me 2. Walked to diner in the morning. 2 blocks away. Great people Great neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again

I stayed at this motel June 2, 2024. I was having my 50th birthday celebration at Vetro’s, the following day my husband and I had an early flight to Jamaica. I arrive at 2:30pm to have my hairdresser and her assistance start working on my mom hair and makeup. They were NEVER left alone. The night before my party I had packed everything and left inside the room until my party ended because my mom was going to grab everything and take it back to my house. The only people in my room were my mom, aunt and my husband. The following morning we left on our trip. I return from Jamaica to put my stuff away and a white gold ring was missing and my coach sunglasses, but left the case. I called the motel only to be insulted and was told that they would be deleting the video. If you have NOTHING to hide why are you deleting videos. If I have NOTHING to hide I would show you the video. ABSOLUTELY NO INTEGRITY! I’m pressing charges. DON’T stay here PLEASE! Making sure EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT THIS PLACE!!!

well i had to return for a funeral and drove right up without any reservation, When i arrived i pulled in the parking lot that had a few cars there at 10 p.m and when i went to the desk was ignored . This is NOT a family place by the sea near Rockaway Beach . It looked like a no tell Motel . Not recommended for funerals in Howard Beach . but the neighborhood although changed significantly still has good italian food .

Stayed overnight and noticed the windows didn't have locks and the door to the room screws were loose. Not much security and I didn't feel safe. Room was dirty and lamp was broken. I reported information to front desk and checked out. The next day Vinnie called claiming I caused damage to the room. He has continuously contacted me from unknown numbers and Surfside number multiple times a day demanding thousands of dollars in damages to the room. I've requested he stop contacting me and if he feels I caused the damage he should handle his claims in small claims court. However, everyday he continues to harass me with false allegations. There is definitely something shady going on at Surfside and Vinnie definitely has some serious issues. Images are just a few of the multiple calls I received today and they are about 15 other calls that came in today.

RIPOFF MOTEL I ASKED FOR A NON SMOKING ROOM I GET TO ROOM 20 VERY STRONG ODOR OF MARIGUANA I COMPLAIN THEN I GET ROOM 23 AND I COME TO FIND OUT THE AC WASNT WORKING AND IF THAT WASNT ENOUGH I SAW A COCKROACH CRAWLING WHICH IS VERY NASTY ALSO NO SOAP IN THE BATHROOM SPOKE TO VINCENT TO TRY TO RECTIFY THE SITUATION AND OFCOURSE HE WASNT OF ANY HELP AND DENIED EVERYTHING MY WARNING DO NOT GO HERE!!! ( ALL I WAS OFFERED WAS MORE TIME IN ANOTHER ROOM ON ANY GIVEN DAY NO THANK YOU. )

Great stay. Rooms are clean and they’re open 24/7. Great location to the airport.

I was traveling and came across this hotel. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Would recommend.
