SureStay Plus by Best Western Warner Robins AFB - Hotel in Warner Robins - 102 Rigby Dr, USA

Our experience was good at first then the last 2 nights staying at the SureStay Plus in Waren Robins was horrible. My mother and I arrived late Saturday night on July 27th to go my Mom's brother's funeral on Friday Aug. 2nd as we were due to leave early morning Saturday Aug. 3rd. The check-in experience was great. The young lady who checked us in was very nice. My Mom asked her if the hotel gives military discounts. She said they do. However when she looked at our rate and checked the military discount, she said we had a better rate than the military discount she could give us. So we kept the rate that we had for the room. She let us know our room was outside on the 2nd floor. She had also mentioned moving our room inside versus being outside but she couldn't do it since it was herblast night working there. She was going to leave a note for the managers and suggested we come down the next morning to request a room change. We said thank you and went to the room. The staircase to the 2nd floor smelled like urine. But no big deal. For to the room and it looked clean and nice. Had no complaints. Everything with the room was good until Thursday. That's when I saw the first roach. It was on the desk by window next to the bed. Then saw on on the end of the bed by the window. I went down to the front desk and informed the girl at the desk that I saw a roach in the room. She said that the bug exterminator had sprayed the hotel Monday and it was common to see one of two after they spray. I asked about another room. She said they were completely booked and unfortunately could not move us to another room. My Mom didn't want to make a fuss since the funeral wa the next day. Ok, just to not add to what was already stressful for my Mom. We stayed. Friday morning, things were fine. However when we came back Friday evening, there more roaches. Another on the on the end of the bed and one on the luggage counter. We had early morning flights and needed to return our rental car in Atlanta. We got up at 2 am Saturday. We could not get out of the room quick enough. I wish I had taken pics but all I wanted to do was get out the room. There was a roach going up the wall, on the door as we were leaving, another on the desk. When I went to return the keys to the lobby, there was guy behind the desk. I did let him know that I was in room and that there are roaches in the room that they need take care of it. And how disappointed I was with the few days of.my stay. Not sure if he understood me. But with the amount of money I paid, very disappointed with the room at the end. Thank you.

Positive: It was very close to where I needed to be. Negative: We are an older couple. Our room was on the second floor and there was no elevator tto take things upstairs.The room was also an outside room upstairs. So, there was several times of carrying all our things upstairs and down trying to locate the room.

Stayed twice. The regular room was great but the spa room with the Jacuzzi was fabulous . The biggest room I have ever stayed at a small hotel. The king size bed and bedding are extremely comfortable. The Jacuzzi was amazing. Slept well after the soak. Beautiful spacious roam. Hotel clean and well maintained.

Will not be back. The non-smoking room smelled like stale cigarettes. The breakfast wasn't great. Not many options. Thankfully it was only for 1 night.

Positive: The location is the best part of this hotel. It is located off a main road that has plenty or restaurants within walking distance. A Walmart is 3 minutes down the road. Negative: The staff person was nice but not communicative about where the room is located. I had to walk back to the front desk to ask for directions to my room. There is no elevator, had to carry heavy luggage upstairs. The hot water did not work in the bathroom. Negative: ""

Went on a trip for a wedding. Decent rooms, clean and the daily breakfast was sufficient. They had suusage, waffles, eggs, bagels, muffins, coffee and cereal. Along w/ juices and milk. The manager, housekeeping and the desk staff were very nice and helpful. We did have an issue with our toilet, but maintenance fixed it quickly for us. The shower was clean and water was hot. The beds were firm but soft enough and we were well rested. They also have wifi and cable channels on TV and a business area setup in the lobby. Overall it's an unassuming place to stay, but if you need a nice, quiet room w/o amenities -- it is great. AGAIN, I can say enough about the staff, they made the stay for us.
