SureStay Plus by Best Western Mountain View - Hotel in Mountain View - 2300 W El Camino Real, USA

This hotel is less expensive than most in the area, so my expectations were quite low prior to arriving. I was therefore surprised when the room was better than I anticipated. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the pillows were fine. On the negative side, the towels were disappointing because they tend to repel rather than absorb water. The shower head was strong, but the bathtub floor was quite slippery. The shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty, requiring me to go to the front desk for shampoo. The room had an “old” smell when entering at first, but that dissipated after being in the room for a bit. |Breakfast was adequate, but lacking better fresh fruit selections and sugar free yogurt and cereals. |Overall, the hotel provided what we needed which was a comfortable place to sleep in a convenient location, at a better price than most hotels in the area. The staff were all pleasant and accommodating. In summation, the hotel was better than expected, but not quite up to snuff. I don’t know if I would stay there again, and would rather pay more at another location for better accommodations.

Business travel hotel. This isn't the Mandarin in San Francisco. It's an older hotel with some signs of age, but my room was completely updated and functional with a warm beige theme that was a good place to relax after a stressful day. The bathtub and toilet room was extremely tight as a sign of when it was built. I can just imagine the carpenters thinking, 'wow indoor plumbing.' Staff was extremely friendly. I had to stay twice for several days amounting to almost two weeks to complete my business, and the staff were very accommodating and considerate. Improvement: Breakfast is quite perfunctory and repetitive. That's fine for business travel, but I would suggest a waffle maker - maybe one in the shape of Texas with some real syrup. That would be a great addition. Maybe on weekends.

This is a basic motel with average rooms. The exterior is well maintained and clean The rooms furnishings are a bit worn, but it had everything we needed. Odd that the microwave is sitting on top of the small refrigerator on the floor? There were small dents in the walls, a couple holes in the curtains and carpets. No shampoo in the dispenser in the shower. We had our own with us so we didn’t bother the desk for a refill. We were here for a visit to Stanford medical so this met our needs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The area is a mix of commercial and office buildings. A couple of restaurants a bit further away. Nothing but Carls Jr. close. We felt safe walking around. We will be back again as we have more work being done at Stanford. (20 minutes away)

Alway really enjoy how kind and attentive the staff are. Rooms are simple but clean and quiet. I’ve chosen this hotel for quick stays and longer stays when I bring my dad down for medical reasons. Each time I can count on staff to be friendly and supportive.

Very convenient! Yes, it's a motel. Get over it. The management and front desk were pleasant. I was there for surgery at Stanford. It was very nice to be able to park right outside my room and not have to walk around a hotel and down endless hallways for twice the price. The tub and toilet are hard to maneuver due to the massive door. They will bring a microwave and fridge to the room if you ask. The housekeeping could definitely use improvement, the manager said they were short staffed in that department. Overall, a very good experience.

The price was right we were able to rent 10 rooms and use the breakfast area for a pizza party for our boys who played soccer it was probably one of the b Best beds that I slept on at a motel. Also, the gentleman in the front counter was willing to do anything to make our stay bettet

Positive: The kindest staff, the free breakfast was a treat and so many different foods offered. Parking was easy and free and the room was bigger than I expected and very comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel!!! Negative: "" Negative: ""

I just love the staff! They can't do enough to help us. They move us because of smokers below us in the parking lot. They brought us a refrigerator and microwave when we did have one in the room. They have a sauna, pool and gym. A great dining room.
