SureStay by Best Western Chowchilla Yosemite - Hotel in Chowchilla - 205 Carlyle Way, USA

I was not expecting the stay to be as good as it was. Really modern, great breakfast and good staff. For a budget option when passing through I was very pleased! Really modern. One criticism- we only realised there was a pool in the centre the morning we left! It is not detailed on the site we booked through and we would have used had we have known. Not the hotels fault though. This has better more modern rooms than the best western plus we stayed in next. Location not for everyone and only stayed here to break up distances on a road trip but had a good nights sleep here. Thank you!

When I first arrived the lady who checked me in was very helpful. Once I received the keys to the room after an exhausting day, I wanted to get into the room and relax. I put my stuff down and noticed a bug on the bed and wall. I was so overwhelmed from the day that I didn’t have the strength to call and complain. I called the next morning to speak to the manager and he pretty much said it’s normal to have bugs in the room and on the bed. He stated he couldn’t compensate me, that it is what it is. Definitely wouldn’t spend another $120 on a room at this location. You offered me a credit of $25 dollars I didn’t say to give me a free room i asked for half of the $120 which is $60. Please don’t lie. I didn’t threaten you about positing. I told you I was. What poor management.

This hotel was very clean outside and inside. While basic, our room was sparkly clean and everything in the room worked. We had no idea about the area, but it was rural and a good location from which to tour the national parks. The bed was as comfortable and clean as any I have ever slept in at any hotel. We would definitely stay here again if returning to the area.

Nice place, a bit secluded, internet is good 50 mbs down, 25 mbs up. Rooms and beds are good. Right next to both Tesla and CCS charging places. Wiring on the AC unit was very dodgy, 240vac plug hanging out of the wall. Has fridge and microwave. Fairly quiet

Positive: We asked is there any possibility to check in early but the receptionist stated it will be 3 pm even the hotel is empty. We asked is it ok to use rest room but she told to go to McDonald . Negative: Breakfast not good and only warm water in the shower Negative: ""

They did a great job renovating the room, and I love that there was no carpet. Fresh smell without it being a freshner that just overlays odors. The breakfast was pretty basic and the food area was kept very clean. Was a little disappointed that they don't keep complimentary coffee in the office area. Was overall a great stay and would highly recommend.

Mike and the team handled a difficult situation (caused by me!) with incredible grace and efficiency. He even came in at 2am to help resolve it. The team here has definitely earned my trust.

I came here 100 am with my family and kids. A big Ride over lawn mower starting big noises at 800 am 10 feet away from my room. I complained while checking out, this guy was smiling and said there is nothing wrong with it doing that early since temperature goes high later on. Attitude was like who cares. Not recommended if you want to stay with family. There were bugs outside everywhere on the premises. Inside room / bathroom was cleaner though. The proper name should be JustStay if there is no other choice.
