This is an older motel that recently joined the Best Western family and is working really hard to be up to their standards. People do need to understand that this is considered a "budget" motel in the Best Western family. As such, I have been staying at this motel since 2016, and have watched it update the rooms. My favorite room is a large one that I'm able to do my yoga in the mornings. There's a coffeemaker in the rooms, but if you're a coffee person, you may want to check out Philz, Peet's or Starbucks down the road in the Castro Valley Village! There was a working fridge and microwave in the room. The previous stay I had mentioned that the HVAC unit had a maintenance icon on it and the toilet had been running - both items were fixed! |I enjoy staying here as a single female, because it is a safe place. I've never had any issues w/crime or weirdos approaching me here. They have a lot of cameras around the motel and they are monitored most of the time. |There is a decent shopping center across the street w/a Safeway, Subway and Panda Express in it too. The BART station is pretty close too. You are also near 580, which leads you to 238 >880.
Loved the size and setup of the rooms. We stayed in the “suite”. 2 bedrooms, frontroom with huge couch, big closet and 1 1/2 bathrooms. Little fridge was really cold, we didn’t try the microwave |Hated NO shampoo and only one soap for 3 adults. How do you have one teeny tiny little bar of soap for 2 bathrooms? I was shocked by no shampoo, had I known to bring some it wouldn’t have been a big deal
From first look, the room looked Very old it didn’t look like a remodeled hotel. It looked like it used to be full of crackheads. Breakfast was basic, just cereal and granola bars. I think the thing that sucked the most out of this location is the service they provide the cleaning ladies Are very rude they judge you and They only want men who flirt with them to stay there. If you’re not the guy that flirts with the cleanin lady’s they’re gonna recommend you don’t Stay there again . They are going to Lie & say u smoked in the room, even when you clearly don’t. Just because they see you smoking outside the cleaning ladies are very shady . The absolute worst of all was the Indian lady in the front every day. She would sit there and be mad that I would Extend my stay and I just felt like she didn’t like me for no reason very rude. Very dumb. I do not recommend this place to. Nobody do not waste your money here they won’t give you back the deposit.
Wow, it's not fancy but clean and roomy. I was surprised by the value with breckfast and water included. It was quiet, safe and the location was perfect for me.
Old and worn-out building, Dirty carpets, not well maintained. Location is an advantage as this close to shopping area and BART station. Won't recommend.
Old and worn-out building, Dirty carpets, not well maintained. Location is an advantage as this close to shopping area. Walk to BART station is perhaps the only advantage. Many restaurants nearby, but in an impoverished area. Won't recommend.
The maintenance man there, David, was very helpful and made our stay there much better since he was able to fix a couple things for us that would have made the stay here a disaster if he hadn’t been there for us.
I booked a room on line. We got there and my wife went in to check in. She showed the guys she had a service dog and he immediately said we don’t accept dogs. My wife said she wanted her money back and he said you have to go back on line. Super .com said no refunds. Beware!!!

We ordered online ahead of time, so we got our order practically the moment we arrived, and it was delicious! I was also grateful to get a splash of almond milk for my coffee from the barista; her and the rest of the staff we encountered were warm an
If opportunity arises, drop into CV Marketplace... especially Oculto restaurant on the second floor... excellent menu with a variety of wines and cocktails and attentive staff. Family friendly place but also good for couples and the lone ranger. Enjo
