This was pretty bad to be honest. We showed up and were told that the pool and jacuzzi weren't working. It was 47c outside and one if the reasons we booked this place was for they facilities. The girl was very apologetic and took $15 off our stay. We then went to our room and the A/C is usually on fan so the room doesn't take to long to cool off but everything was turned off even the alarm clock so the room was stifling hot. We went for breakfast the next morning to be met with a sign in the window saying there was no breakfast being served. We went into ask the receptionist what was the issue but it was another girl who had a real bad attitude and clearly couldn't be bothered with us asking about the lack of breakfast. She said I'll take another $10 off your room, only after we asked would we get a price reduction. I understand that you can't be bothered with guests asking the same questions but we are paying customs who came to your hotel because it was advertised as having these facilities. If you don't want to deal with guests who are annoyed at the lack of services(that we have paid for) then find another job. SIMPLE!! And check the attitude. So we got $25 off but we would rather have the pool/jacuzzi and breakfast and you can keep you 25 bucks. So let's be clear there is NO POOL OR JACUZZI at this hotel and won't be for the foreseeable future. I would swerve this place and go somewhere else. Just not worth the hassle.
Hotel was not even close as the photos online. Where to start? Pool was shut down and we were told it had been down for a great deal of time. OK, upper management failed to notify future customers. We went to the room anyway. Gap around room door, bottom stripping torn away. Bugs in bathroom. Generally really run down. The worst was the smell. I had to go outside in the heat to make phone calls to try and find another place. We ended up driving to Parker (about 45 min north). Much better Best Western there. There is another Best Western in Blythe. I would check that place out. Stay away from this motel! Believe me. I'm not real picky. This place should be torn down and rebuilt.
We booked this hotel for one night to catch some sleep on a long driving trip. We knew this was a budget motel and expected it to be no frills. But since it had the Best Western name on it, we also expected it to be clean and in working order with competent staff. However, it was none of those things. The air conditioning unit was broken and never fixed. The water in the room was brown/yellow out of the tap and the drinking water in the lobby ran out and was not refilled. The room was dank, musty and overly warm; without a working air unit, we could not improve that. The front desk staff's answer to all our complaints was, "We'll notify maintenance." "Maintenance" never materialized. This stay has eroded my trust in the Best Western brand. Next hotel stay, I will look elsewhere even if I have to pay more.
Avoid at all cost they will pick your card then blame you !! Yes it's a dump after you anger them but questioning them overxand over they retaliate by refusing to provide wash cloths, coffee packs ice clean fitted sheet stating we don't have any " my husband is disabled massive stroke no wash cloths in room on arrival sheets didnt fit they refused him basic daily needs they kept saying we don't have any I did not sleep.much because we were afraid they would do something to our truck also when we were gave a discussion about confirmation notes payment departed etc I went to get cash they call the law. Nothing done no.report they didn't even talk to me I walk in they leave stated" were out of here" I guess more intimidation from managervbecause she wanted to kick us out and NOT honour the agreement I had made the night before that was one notes on my account
Positive: The staff was very nice! Negative: Their AC units did not work well, the toilet in our room would flush brown water and there was urine on the toilet seat upon check in.
Positive: "" Negative: The swimming pool was broken and no breakfast was served. They did credit us back 10. For breakfast but nothing for the swimming pool. It was 110 degrees. The room was no precooked so it took 1.5 hours to get it down to 90 degrees.
We were having trouble finding a place to crash for the night as we were just passing through town and were exhausted but Avril at the front desk hooked us up and was extremely helpful and friendly. She went above and beyond for us which is more than I can say about most hotels i’ve stayed at, and I travel a lot. Bed was comfy with nice sheets, bathroom had nice shampoo/soap, fridge, microwave, so no complaints there. Had everything we needed. Area was super quiet and peaceful throughout the night. Thank you Avril!!!
Positive: Location was good. Negative: I was speaking at a conference and brought a guest speaker to stay with me. I was so embarrassed. When we entered the room, carpets were ancient and dirty with toenails and beer caps visible. Also, we had to exchange our room key 3 times in two days! Ugh! Negative: ""
The owner, Biju is the best! So kind, caring and helpful. Working with a skeleton crew she goes out of her way to make your stay pleasant. We booked a double room which was clean and quiet with a comfy bed and new looking laminate flooring. We especi
