Supreme Hibachi Buffet - Japanese restaurant in Lexington - 180 E New Circle Rd, USA

Food was wonderful today. Hot and kept fresh. The server only came to the table once so that was a negative and it could use some updating. But overall a good place to eat. 2 people cost 26.00 which is great in today's market in my opinion.

This used to be such a great place to go for a Chinese buffet. Things have slipped a lot over the last 12 years. I'll share my experience, and hopefully you will see why I rated the service in this place so low. We are seated, we are asked what to drink. We reply hot tea for the both of us. We go and get out plate. We don't like to load up. We want something to start the meal. We come back. No hot tea. We wait 5 more minutes. No hot tea. Eventually the server comes over and looks shocked that we are in his section. He gets a tea pot of hot tea for us and 2 cups. We finish the small plate in front of us now that we have a beverage. We get up to get our main course, and the waiter than was there only a few moments ago with the hot tea is now giving us the check. On the check is our charges for our meals plus 2 sodas (it's 2.50 per soda.) We didn't get soda. I pay and make it a point to leave as soon as I can. The floors are filthy, to food is mediocre, and the service is piss poor. They may survive without my future patronage, however if they keep chasing away customers, they may not.

It is my first time I came in to this establishment I have to say it much cleaner than the other restaurant around them. the restaurant got a 97 score due to the one of their Mechanics not working properly. The food was alright there can alway be improvements in the quality of food. however the service and staff was really polite also helpful. The price for today for food and drink was under 20 dollar including the tip. That not very pricey for a buffet. They had a hibachi grill that had beef, chicken, stake, shrimp, even pork many other buffet doesn’t have offer that many options. They polish the silverware making sure that it is clean and ready to be used. They have a great atmosphere for the guest also they fish are alive moving around happy not sink to bottom of the tank looks like they dying. The bathroom is the worst in the establishment it sink like mold and its nasty that the only big problem I have with this place.

The best thing about this restaurant was the waitress. She was very attentive, friendly, and kept our water full. Unfortunately, the person behind the hibachi counter was focused on playing video games rather than fast and friendly service. The food was okay overall. There were some items that were absolutely delicious (Lo Mein & Crab) but there was also some items that were a bit dried out (frog legs & chicken). They did offer a large variety.

Don’t waste your time or money! If they gave me a free meal, I wouldn’t eat here again. Once was once too much! The place is filthy so start with that. Most of the food was cool rather than hot. And most of it was tasteless. Their egg rolls were actually decent. Don’t go here. You WILL regret it.

Despite my last horrific experience with a different but similar restaurant, we gave this place a go. The food was edible. That's about all I can say. Nothing was very fresh, everything was room temp or cold, but it was still decent on flavor. Kind of odd setting the bar so low when I say "the food wasn't rotten so we were ok" but here we are. Interesting note: when you look at all the buffet options it SEEMS to be hot and fresh with steam rolling out of everywhere but upon further inspection the steam is coming from under the big metal containers and the food isn't hot, or even really warm. At least the dessert bar was good... it was all pre-made.

I was there on Saturday, 7th of August 2021 afternoon at 5h00 p.m. The food is very delicious and various with a lot of options ! It is awesome. The service is excellent as well! Highly recommended.
