SUPERMAN: Escape From Krypton - Roller coaster in Valencia - 26101 Magic Mountain Pkwy, USA

Amazing launch. Everything about this coaster is fun for what it is, even though it may not be a closed-circuit coaster. Going at 100 mph flying backwards (where you fall face-down) or forwards (where you have no clue what is going on and free fall 400 feet backwards) is absolutely incredible for its adrenaline rush. Also, it’s not scary at all; don’t let the stats fool you (a 10 sec ride). The theming is fantastic, and the ride also comes with an air-conditioned station, which is undoubtedly the best in the park.This feels like Superman.

The ride constantly breaks down. It's also a boring ride, that's only worth riding once. The backwards train is slightly better. Loading and unloading takes forever, and it's a pain in the rear end to walk up to the top of the Samurai Summit.

There are two people in this world, the people who praise Superman for being an outstanding coaster, and the people who believe the coaster is just okay and overrated. I believe it is highly overrated. The coaster is great for it's speed and all, but the fact that it is only 17 seconds (if that) just makes it not worth my time. This ride is great if there is no one in line and you can marathon it without waiting in the usual hour long wait, otherwise it's just okay.

If you like high speed launch and free fall, then this is for you. However the ride itself is a mere 12-15 seconds at MOST, which doesn't really make it worth the wait time. The wait time for this ride is over an hour, despite it saying 30 minute wait on the app. For a ride that happens so fast the line doesn't really move at a steady pace. I'd suggest waiting for the other rides. Just an FYI.

Very thrilling! You are launched forwards (sometimes you can go backwards) at 0-100 in approx. 7 seconds up a 415 ft tall tower, but you only usually make it up like 3 quarters of the way. The acceleration is smooth and gradual, but you feel speed increasing every second. Plus the ride has 4.5 positive gs and is quite forceful (not shocked, it's an Intamin). Anyways, Intamin, this reverse free-fall of yours is amazing. I love you guys Intamin:)

I have been waiting to go on this ride for 20 years. I was obsessed with rollercoaster documentaries / countdowns as a kid and this ride consistently showed up in the top 10 back then. Yes, the ride is over in the blink of an eye. The queue can be hot and smelly. But the rush you get on takeoff is so incredible! It has Cedar Point Top Thrill Dragster vibes - I wish that it went over the top and back down like TTD. I loved it! The backwards side was closed on my visit day but would love to give that a try.

This ride seems like it would be scary, but it wasn't. In fact, you barely feel anything. It's not that great of a thrill coaster, but it's still decent.

Superman escape from Krypton is an amazing ride! It's the last Intamin shuttle launch ride in the world after the closure of its sister ride at the Warner Bros Park in Australia. Since bringing those parts over from Australia this ride is running better than ever it's actually launching up to the red zone once again. If you're in the area and you want to check out Superman while still running smoothly definitely trying to hit up Magic Mountain.
