Fiance and i were desperate to find a cheap motel to stay in for a week. Paid for a week in advance, second morning she woke up with bed bug bites all over her body. I got home from work and flipped the mattress and search every crevice. Found several live bed bugs, plus plenty of evidence of infestation. Finally got our money back (minus the nights we stayed) after hours of waiting. The lady manager was super sweet and understanding, but her husband is extremely rude and creepy.
Besides that, the motel was quiet and cozy. If no bugs, we would have stayed for sure.
Granted Super 8 is nothing to desire. You do expect a clean room. I had traveled 12HRS. Looking for a clean safe place for me and my kids from Illinois to Arizona. The front desk agent was nice. She stated"We are under renovation,I will give you a renovated room for $59,we also have breakfast. Ok Im sleepy,I'll take it. The room she showed me was renovated. Not the one she gave me. Elevator..nasty,3rd floor..gross,room..horrid. Carpets ripped, wall paper trying to run away,it was just wrong in sooo many ways. I went back to the front desk and told her straight out "There is no way in hell I would stay here." She replied "I dont blame you" I currently have a call in about this place..
I would rate it less if possible. We can tolerate a lot and expect very little when it comes to a locally owned motel. The room was super run down and provided the bare essentials. However, the rating is for the appauling level of rudeness the owners showed my husband on the couple of occasions he was forced to deal with them. This is my first ever review of an establishment I just felt very strongly people should know. Try somewhere else!
The Worst ever! The room was obviously not cleaned after previous occupants. The sheets had bedbug feces. The refrigerator had moldy food and trash in it. The nightstand drawer had what appeared to be paraphernalia. There are no phones in the rooms, yet the answering system leads you to believe there is. They become belligerent and rude and will not refund your money. Very bad experience.
Took my family there for the night, including my young children. The room was actually fine for the low cost, the problem begin when I fell asleep for a nap upon arrival, and woke up a little while later with bites all over my hand and arm. I went straight to the "office", which is where a horribly bitter and rude elderly couple live. I explained the situation and asked if we could leave and Mrs. "Manager" tried to completely pull the blind fold over my eyes and make me feel like I was going crazy and it was just spiders. Went back to the room and found bedbug traps under my bed and immediately took it back to the office. Mr. "Manager" came out and preceded to tell me that we placed the traps there!!! And then walked back through a door to his living room. We left and will be taking civil action, im also uploading pictures. Would not refund, claimed they had no control of there is bed bugs or not so they wouldn't give a homeless family their money back
We can tolerate a lot with a locally owned motel and expect very little. The room was run down with barest essentials but for the price not much more was expected. However, the owners took attitude and rudeness to a whole other level. Forget about asking for a room reciept.
One of the cheapest motels in the area, BUT they ARE NOT PET FRIENDLY!!! They also only take cash. I drove in from PA and called ahead to check that I can stay with my cat. Got to Denver with no backup plan (because I put in the leg work back at home) only to find out we couldn't stay there. I never got to see a room, but MAN is it in a terrible part of town! Drove around the block until I found a good place to park with my U-Haul trailer & saw graffiti that said "kill police" among other things. Not sure I'd want to stay there even if I could've.
If you like life on parole or jail dentention, go to super A. The "A" is for super ass- no other word describes the owner so well. He doesn't allow visitors, Emily, comes over and owner comes running if a visitor approaches. I paid for 2 guests and my sister couldn't come take a shower. $300 for 2 stinking days at a nasty crackhead, roach motel. Remember ya'all, the"A" a s for ass
These are the best classic donuts in Denver. We love them so much that the drive to get them has become a weekly tradition. The staff is wonderful and kind. No frills, just amazing donuts.
This was a beautiful venue and everything was set up better than we both imagined. We are so happy we went with this venue. The cold sparks and smoke was 100% worth the money as a wow factor many people were amazed and shocked. The service was amazin
Love this place! Been going here for years, better than Dennys. Big plates at a good price, family owned and service is 5/5 stars if youâre in town you have to try their food!
Nature in all it's beauty. Drive through many protected acres of land where Bison roam free and so close to your windows you could almost touch them. Lots of cute Prairie Dogs roaming around too. I really enjoyed this little adventure!
