The room was clean. The manager was very helpful and accommodated our special request very nicely!!
Reception friendly. Lots of plants in and in front of lobby. Gazebo area newly/currently being constructed. No hot water. Carpet sticky. Otherwise appeared clean.
Went to see my son. My daughter and I came from FL. We needed a room quick and inexpensive. The staff at this location were extremely friendly and made check in easy. The rooms were basic, microwave, refrigerator, and tv. The beds were extremely soft and had a very good night's sleep. The have what they call a crab and go breakfast. Muffins and pastries things of that nature. Seriously considering staying there on the way home as well.
Place is a nasty DUMP!! If I could give it zero stars I would. Shower head is taped on an barely worked, bath towels are all stained thank god I had my own, rooms stink, no coffee pot. I do NOT recommend this place at all!! $100.00 a night when they quote you 68.00 stay away
This is by far the worst motel we've ever encountered. The place is so hard to find even Google maps got confused. The check in clerk was every nice, the place was not busy at all. We proceeded to our room to find a man sitting in a chair in front of our door. When we got out of our vehicle and headed to the door her said "This yours?" He was apparently staying at the room next door with a lady and a young child so moved his chair over to that door. All night long people driving up, the dude goes out to the car then back in the room, clearly some drug dealing going on. The room was clean but on top of the bedspread we found a cigarette lighter (no smoking room). Of all the empty rooms we get put next to this situation. Then when we checked out the clerk looked like he just woke up and couldn't provide a receipt. Then we get our credit card bill and the charge was $100.52 - that is not what we were quoted at check in but we had no idea what they charged until much later. I would avoid this place at all costs!
not the worst... but as to the claims of being renovated! no thanks! i stayed here for a family reunion and wanted to leave the first night. no fridge or microwave in the room and each room on the first floor had a horrible musty smell. the continental breakfast..HA! they put the same muffins out every day. We watched, just go to the waffle house down the street
I am glad others had a more positive experience, but we never made it past going into the room and looking around. The room was filthy. Dead roaches on the floor. Brown stains on the bathroom floor. Some sort of sticky brownish liquid all over the sink, and a terrible smell to boot. The employee at the desk was no help, and offered no concern over our decision to leave for a cleaner place.
reservations were for 2, had 1 wash clothes, no shampoo, no hot breakfast as advertised, no coffee pot or microwave in room. Although it was below 20 outside, there was a sheet and thin bedspread on bed. Interior needed pained where they had removed wall lamps and hole in wall.
One of the best historical hikes I've been to. They even have a museum and a gift shop. A lot of waterfalls to explore if you do a loop trail. Definitely a moderate hike with plenty of parking. Rocky in some area.
Stopped in this lovely little cafe/boutique today to check out what all they offer. Such a cute and quaint small town experience. I ended up buying a meat and three to that consisted of roast beef with carrots, mashed potatoes, green beans and mixed
We had a late lunch and were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and checked on us throughout the meal. My husband had a BLT and I had a grilled cheese with coated fries. It was all delicious. We're just visiting Manchester, but if I lived
I love staying at the Broken Banjo RV park as I travel through the area. The cabins are always clean and are perfect in any weather (ac/heat). I travel with my dog and itâs always great to walk the trail and grounds on a long road trip. This las
