Super 8 by Wyndham Washington/Peoria Area - Hotel in Washington - 1884 Washington Rd, USA

Nice place to lay your head. Bed wasn't bad. Loved the pillows. Cold A/C. TV was on the smaller side. Shower was clean and worked great. Nice and quiet. Not a fancy place but clean. Breakfast was cold cereal, toast, honey bun, coffee, juice, milk. Would stay there again if needed.

I would have given a better review except for the awful smell of incense in the lobby and hallway. The smell was very strong. Luckily I could not smell it in my room. The room was clean and the shower water was hot. The carpet needed replaced in the room and the place was old but seemed well kept up. I had to go to the desk each day to get fresh towels because I guess they only clean rooms on request. We stayed 3 nights. You can make fresh waffles or have cereal for breakfast, Nothing special.

Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money. I thought $91 would be enough for a decent hotel room. The heat index is 105 and they have all the windows open and none of the air conditioners on. The upstairs is almost unbearable. I'm the only person in this hotel currently and of course I'm up on the second floor where it's 150 degrees....

I have never in my life left a hotel, I have never been yelled at by a manager for leaving the hotel , the ac was so loud when I tuned it on I couldn't even hear of I was on the phone , the protective cover on the mattress had red marks all over them . I stayed in the room long enough to find a new hotel . After leaving I called to see if I could cancel and the female manager yelled at me . She refunded me that day for my stay but the next day she charged my card again I went down to try and resolve the issue the male refused to get me the manager or give me her number . I called the police to see if they could do something and they told me to call the health department to inspect the property and file a civil claim to hopefully get refunded for a room I was not in and only pulled the bedding back to check for bed bugs once I saw the red I stopped touching the bed. Noone has called me or tried to make this right I was in town dropping my daughter off for college they absolutely made the first day horrible . They claim I stayed in the room six hours but I have an Uber ride and video evidence to prove other wise . horrible experience, worst to date !

Hotel is in a great location. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were clean and housekeeping service was very responsive. Continental breakfast was not great but they did have fruit. Overall the stay was very good and I would return.

The hotel was old and run down and musty smelling. The room was marginally clean and the towels and sheets were stained. Breakfast was supposedly included, but the only thing put out was a pot of coffee, a jug of milk, and a cereal dispenser which was empty except for 1 container of cornflakes. So your breakfast choices were coffee and cornflakes. The area did not appear clean and the choices were not appetizing so we left.||||The hotel was a budget price around $80 plus a $30 pet fee so I was not expecting anything fancy. However, even for that price I expect better than a smelly room with nasty linens. If they advertise breakfast there should be at least be some basic options like toast or bagels. ||||To make matters worse we discovered when we got home that they double charged us for the pet fee because the person at check in could not figure out how to run the charge. Now I am having to spend my time to dispute the duplicate charge with my credit card company.

Positive: Nothing Negative: The room smelled strongly of dog pee. The vending machines did not work
