Super 8 by Wyndham Tilton/Lake Winnipesaukee - Featured Reviews (450)
I booked these rooms for my brother and his wedding party. We were all pleasantly surprised with how clean and tidy everything was. The rooms we had were a bit small but other than that, everyone had a great stay. Seems like updates have been made. Carpets appear new and very clean. Would definitely stay there again.
Very basic, motel-type, Wyndham grouped Super 8. Inexpensive for the Laconia vacation and recreation area. It’s just an unattractive location at the end of a road in bad condition, right next to a McDonald’s. Kind of worn out facilities and furniture, inadequate breakfast hours and menu. But they try to keep it up with daily maid service - the rooms are old, tired, but are clean. One major irritation is their rigid requirement for an immediate deposit of $100 as a protection for them against incidentals (though they’ve really nothing to sell incidentally) and damages. That makes one question the typical clientele they must have if they need that protection, and raises questions in the mind about being there “among them.”
Hotel should be torn down. Bathroom walls were plastered over and over. Soap was do small , it melted down it 2 minutes. Towels were small and thin and black marks were on white towels. Exercise room was falling apart. hotel is in disrepair
The room was clean. Bedspread were very outdated and had burn holes - need to be replaced. We stayed there for a concert in Gilford and the price was right. I would stay again.
Our room was absolutely filthy. Stains all over the comforter, mold on ceiling in the bathroom, grime on the toilet, and small items left on floor from previous guests. This place obviously doesn’t get a thorough cleaning in between guests. Not worth the money by any stretch.
Found two roaches. One dead on the bathroom sink and one alive in our bed. We stayed here anyway since it was late and tried to forget it happened. I brought it up over email/text with the hotel and no response.
Returned a call after being spammed from the motel. Lady I talked to was incredibly rude after I asked to be taken off the the list so I called back to speak to a manager because there’s no way a lady like this is actually doing phone calls for them if that’s the case they should be fired or shut down. I’ll never be going to a motel 6 in NH for the rest of my life and I will tell everyone I know to avoid it like the plague besides Hilton, holiday inn is superior. Motel 6? Booooooooooooooo!
Breakfast was lack luster. Not much choice of options and staff not very interested in restocking food or napkins. Acted like she didn't want to be there or help
Excellent all the way around. It's no surprise why this place has been called the best pizza in New England. I just ordered a large cheese pizza which was fantastic, but I saw a sub coming out of the oven that looked amazing too. The food was just
Amazing little Country store. They will surely surprise you. They have Amazing options and the staff are solid. You cannot miss this place when you visit Winnisquam. This is a MUST. They have some of the best breakfast options in town.
We love coming here for the easy going vibe, great sandwiches, and frosty beer glasses. Nothing beats a frosty cold beer. Sheena was an excellent and attentive bartender/server, and Emily was wonderful as well. We ate the Nashville sandwich and a Ver
Stopped at the drive through just at closing time, but we didn't realize that until after we got our order. The worker never made it known that he wanted to close or showed any irritation with us. He is super at his job.
