Super 8 by Wyndham Tifton - Hotel in Tifton - 1022 W 2nd St, USA

Was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the beds and room were. Place was clean, quiet and parking lot well lit. The price was more than fair and had eating places close by. The only negatives were bathroom needed an update but was clean, front office definitely needs a complete make over, this is the first face of their business that will be judged and the breakfast was just sad, The juice/cold water machine was out of order, the coffee was empty the options were limited and this was 7:30 A.M. That being said I those were not deal breakers and we would definitely stay there again.

Terrible place to stay. We travel a lot and this place is nasty. Dirty towels and bathrooms. Very old and run down building all together. The breakfast is ridiculous lol. Some box frozen waffles they put in a mini fridge with a bag of busted broken old mini doughnuts and some slices of bread u can toast. Nothing to drink because everything is broken apparently. Definitely do not recommend unless you are very desperate and have to sleep with no expectations for your money. Best part about the place was it had a waffle house directly across the street when we left so we could actually eat before we got on the road again.

Do not be taken in by the pictures. The beautiful pool is empty. Room was terrible. Peeling paint, nasty stained tub shower walls, staind nasty toilet. Comforters stainded so bad we tossed them in the floor and bought blankets. Worst hotel i seen in 30 years i cannot rate it low enough waited to long to cancel or i would have left. When i complained staff acted like they couldnt understand english. So stay at your on risk. I tried.

It was way after midnight, and my daughter and I were so tired. The clerk was absolutely wonderful; the room was clean and comfortable. Thank you so much for a great place to stay! Wonderful Super-8 motel! There was free parking, and a spot was available directly in front of our room.

Where to start. When I pulled in, it was like the “pool” was in the parking lot. The parking lot was flooded. As I’m getting out of my car my wife and I walked to the office. As we’re coming up on the door a lady is coming out the door yelling at the guy behind the desk “stop hiring these crack heads that stealing from your customers”. As I’m getting my key the same lady and a fella come in yelling at each other and the guy at the desk. I look at my wife and said it’s only one night. We grab our luggage and the hall where the ice is sounds like a hang out fest. We enter our room I start searching for bugs when I find blood on the bed (see pic) walk into the bathroom top hinge isn’t attached (see pic) and there’s a dirty sock behind the bathroom door (see pic). At this point, I don’t think this room has even been cleaned. The vanity light didn’t work so definitely not maintenance. There were spots all over the blankets. I don’t even want to say what I assumed that was. Nicotine all down the walls. As much as I like see business be successful, this one needs to be closed down. We ended up getting a refund and driving an hour farther south. When I went in for a refund we had a guy asking for a refund as well. So that tells me most/all their rooms are in this condition. This was a crash pad for my first anniversary as we were on our way to Florida. Bad start. I know it’s a cheap room, but this is unacceptable. I’m easy going and usually don’t complain.

We stayed in room 115 and I will not stay at this hotel ever again. The coffee pot didn't work, the mini refrigerator did not work, and there was no microwave in the room as advertised in the room details. They only provided two towels and washcloths for 3 people, so instead of bothering the manager, because he didn't act like he wanted to be bothered when I went back to ask about the air, we went and bought our own towels and washcloths. The manager didn't seem like he wanted to hear about anything that was wrong with the room and he was a little rude. We was up have the night on Saturday because of people fussing right outside of our room. At check-in we were not informed anything about breakfast or the pool. Also when I asked for a receipt at checkout the manager acted like he didn't want to give me one because it was free nights due to points.

Positive: It was surrounded by a lot of restaurants and stores in walking distances. Negative: It took me a two hours to get my room. Cause the rooms wasn¿t ready. That¿s after the set time they told me to could at 2. Then once a room was available, it was dirty. It had a lot of bottles and dirty sheets. Then got a non smoking room that smell smoke Negative: ""

The clean towels had handprints. We got no sleep for all the noise. The breakfast consisted of toast and stale coffee. It is hands down the worst place I have ever stayed. It was an overnight stay to our Florida trip.
