Super 8 by Wyndham Susanville - Hotel in Susanville - 2975 Johnstonville Rd, USA

We were very lucky. We were put in a room that had an odd smell and we asked to move. They were very accommodating and gave us another room. We only stayed one night, but it was a clean room, nice bed and we loved the location.

I booked a stay for 4 nights. Location is great, rooms are decent, the tub could be cleaner. I could hear the people who are staying upstairs all hours of the night, every step, thump and cartwheels or whatever they are going up there. It’s hard to rest when that’s all I hear. I also bought salads and placed in the mini fridge, but everything froze! There are no temp settings inside the fridge so those went to waste. You get what you pay for.

Stayed here after 10 hours on the road. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The shower was decent. There is no carpet in the room which we like since it is a pet friendly room. Overall, I would stay here again when driving through.

Pleasant and quiet stay. Parking was a bit of a challenge but we made it work. Room was an accessible one and quite comfortable. Easy to move around and safe features thru-out. We will definitely come back to stay when we are back in the area. Thank you!

I wanted to like this place. The staff were courteous and did their jobs well. As I said, the sink, bathroom, tile floor & linens were clean. The carpet was filthy, made my socks grey. The nonsmoking room smelled like 10 ashtrays. There was no blanket on the bed. The bathroom had a recent cheap remodel but overall the place gave the impression of being run down. I must have missed the memo that there was no hot breakfast, just yogurt, instant oatmeal packets, bad coffee and Swiss Miss. I’ll try somewhere else next time.

Very clean and tidy, a lot of Towels. Nicely decorated with local pictures. But if you want to stay be sure that you get a room in the upper floor, because the whole building works when people upstairs are walking. ||Small breakfast included. |Over all a pleasand stay.

Positive: Staff friendly and helpful. Large room. Continental breakfast was fine, but no microwave. Friendly breakfast crew. Negative: Late arrivals were in the 2nd floor above us. Floor popped and cracked with their every step while we were trying to sleep. Recommend 2nd floor if you can deal with stairs.

I stopped by this motel last night. Because me and my husband were exhausted from driving from Las Vegas headed to Oregon. Want to give a shout out to Jimmy and Lisa at the front desk. You guys were amazing. I've never stayed at this hotel before. And they were both very polite, very helpful, very sweet. I talked to Lisa for the longest time. She was the sweetest lady ever. The rooms and everything were very nice and very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel if you're coming through Susanville, California. Please tell Lisa and Jimmy. I really appreciate everything. Thank you for being so nice.
